Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young. Growing up in a military family, moving every few years was the norm. The only thing that remained constant for me was my love and dedication to animals. Over the years, I've spent a lot of my free time training them, caring for them and furthering my knowledge. Animals are definitely my special interest lol! These days I call myself mom to 2 dogs and 3 kitties who I absolutely cherish & adore. While I’ve only been on Rover since 2021, my experience extends throughout my whole life and I've developed my own unique skill set through hands-on work, research and passion. Here’s what makes me unique: • I value transparency--you'll always know what’s going on • Certified in CPR & first aid • Skilled in reading dog body language & behavior • Experienced with senior & high-energy pets, shy/fearful animals and separation anxiety • Confident with medication administration (topical, oral, & injections) • Years of fostering animals & volunteer experience, including pregnant mamas and bottle babies • Knowledgeable in various training methods--I've trained my own dogs in obedience & even competed in dog agility for years. Not to brag, but my pup knows over 60+ tricks! :) • Well-versed in various dog & cat dietary needs--including raw diets. • Comfortable with exotic pets (birds, turtles, rabbits, ferrets, rats, fish, sugar gliders, etc.) As someone who has been on the owner side of Rover, I know how hard it is to entrust someone with your pets. I'm more than happy to follow your pets' usual routine and keep them as comfortable as possible while you're away. I also plan to provide frequent photos/updates of your babies for your peace of mind! :) Every home and situation is different, so my rates aren’t set in stone.
