I’ve had an active dog for almost 4 years and have done lots of dog sitting in my adult life! Responsible and caring, have a big fenced back yard and a very friendly 4 year old Toller who loves to play.

Ashley is absolutely wonderful. She took great care of our puppy Isla. Her dog Alfie is such a good companion and was so good with her. Isla was absolutely pooped by the end of their visits. Smooth communication, drop off and pick up. We will definitely be back!
Ashley is not only a caring, dedicated dog mom, but she is also extremely organized. Some (me) would even say she is the ultimate planner and logistical queen, which comes in handy when dealing with our furry friends. I witnessed Ashley passionately plan for the arrival of her fun-loving pup, and then I witnessed her do all the best fur Mom things upon his arrival, all while also taking in my dog every now & then while I was off at work. Ashley understands and has patience for dogs, and what she doesn't understand she researches and commits to learning, all for the best of the dog (and, likely, her sanity). I trust her with my pup, who has mad wiggles for her, and I strongly believe others will too! Oh, and she also takes awesome photos and videos of the hounds! Definitely appreciated.
Ashley is a great dog sitter. Before she got Alfie, she often dog sat for her mom and friends dogs. She has experience sitting puppies to senior dogs. She has always had the biggest heart for all dogs and shows them so much love. She’s often had to leave Alfie while she is away for work, so she knows how important it is to find someone to trust with your fur baby. Alfie is the sweetest dog who plays well with every dog I’ve seen him with. He loves walks and to go for swims. Ashley does an awesome job at giving Alfie a happy, fun life and I know she will do the same for your dog. I would highly recommend Ashley as your next dog sitter. I wish I lived closer so I could use her for my dog sitting purposes.

Schedule
I work part time from home and I’m able to give dedicated care to your dog. My partner’s kids are here half the time so I only take other dogs while they are gone and the house is calm. I’d love to give you a home away from home for your dog if you need help. I used to work out of town and know exactly what it’s like to leave your fur baby with someone else.

I have a super friendly and playful 4yr old duck toller and we have a big fully fenced back yard in a quiet neighbourhood in Manotick. I work from home part time and can dedicate lots of time to caring for your dog in whatever way needed. Please note we have a swimming pool that is generally open June through September.
Pets
A typical day
My dog starts his day at 7:30am with a back yard potty and toodle. We do breakfast around 8/8:30 and then depending on the weather will go out for some sort of adventure either in the morning or afternoon. We’ll do a good back yard play at some point as well, and he goes in an out to the back yard as needed when we’re home. Dinner is around 6/6:30 and then there’s an after dinner potty in the back yard and some fetch. Bed time is around 9/10pm. I’m home all day and we have a big house and big back yard!
