I work Monday-Friday until 3pm as a school counselor (off during the summer) Matt is an air traffic controller at the Syracuse airport, which is 5 minutes from our house. He is off Mondays and Tuesdays but sometimes this can change. Our schedules tend to be opposite so we trade off caring for the pups throughout the week.

We have a fenced in yard and a newly built entrance gate into the house to keep pups safe. Depending on the dog that visits- we do have the ability to gate our furry friends in our kitchen so they do not get into anything. Our dogs are not crated and have free range of our home. If you prefer crating, we would be happy to do so! Our Alexa plays white noise at night and we always leave music on when we leave the house. It helps our girls feel less alone.

Any information is important information! We are happy to make our home your dogs for the time he/she is with us. Anything we can do to make it easier for them we will. We always encourage meet and greets so we can have a better understanding prior to the stay.
A typical day
Everyday when I get home from work, I take my two dogs on a long walk and or a nearby park where they run around. After, they love to play in the yard together. Matt is a triathlete and goes on long runs. He will take our two with him for certain parts of his run. He would be happy to run with your pup too!

Hi! My name is Ashley. I’m a very active person with two dogs of my own. My husband, Matt and I are always the go to people for family and friends which is why we decided to get on this app a few years back and we’ve fallen in love with Rover! We have a fenced in yard and two energetic dogs who love to run and play! Cali and Stella are extremely friendly, socialized & submissive. On weeks we do not have visitors, Cali and Stella go to Cory’s Canine Cove for daycare. They love meeting new people and animals. Cali is a certified Therapy Dog and spends a few days a week at the middle school I work at. Stella is a high endurance dog and tends to go on runs with Matt. She can play for hours but is also one to snuggle up by your side. She is the perfect mix between playful and calm. My house is a dog friendly home! Anyone that comes to visit, stay or play is treated as we treat Cali and Stella. Lots of treats, exercise, cuddles and playing is part of our everyday routine. We give our dogs baths regularly and are happy to do the same with yours if needed.

I would highly recommend Ashley & Matt! We received multiple updates and pictures during our vacation. We would definitely use them again.
Thanks for always taking such good care of Riley. She loves spending time with both of you and your pups. I never worry when she is with you. Riley always gets excited when I tell her she is going to see Cali and Stella.
I can not recommend Ashley and Matt enough! They were great with communication. I received numerous pictures and updates of Winnie during her stay. Winnie had a great time with their dogs who are so well trained. Most important, Winnie was so well taken care of!!
Ashley and Matthew took excellent care of Oliver. We enjoyed getting photos and updates while we were on our trip, and knew he was in good hands!
