I’ve had dogs since I was little, and am definitely a “can I pet your dog?!” person, everywhere I go! I decided to turn my love of dogs into a gig where I get to love on other people’s pups and enjoy having a dog in the house while I wait to have a dog of my own. That’s right! Your pup will be the only one in my house for the length of their stay, which means they are super spoiled and loved on. I work from home, and my daily routine is a morning run, which I am happy to take your dog on and even slow it down to a walk if needed. I live close to the Trophy Club dog park and frequently take my furry guests to the park (with their owners permission!). I am comfortable crating your dog, and I also have a small fenced in backyard that I let dogs out into to stretch their legs and go potty. I do have one small, quiet cat who has learned to tolerate (read: allow) dogs in her home and had even learned to try and make friends. Please let me know if your dog is up for that or if our cat needs to be put away for the length of your dog’s stay. I’m looking forward to being your pup’s new bestie!

Ashley was absolutely phenomenal with our two dogs. She has a life saver when it came to needing a last minute sitter. We will definitely use her again. She was very attentive with our dogs, sent us pictures and updates, and asked good questions to get to know our dogs before taking them on. Highly recommend her, our dogs seemed very happy and excited when we came back from our trip! Felt like us and the dogs had a separate but equally good vacation!

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during work hours, as well as on the weekends. I’m open for walks, pets, scratchies, treats, and feeding schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard. Since I have a small grassy area, poop gets cleaned up immediately, so the yard is clean. I am comfortable crating your dog, and I work best with older dogs or trained dogs who have a routine and know their crate is a safe space. I put the crate in my office area which is open to the rest of the house, so they never feel lonely or abandoned! I also live very close to the Trophy Club dog park, and frequently take dogs down there to run around and make friends (if their owner is comfortable with that!). I also help my doggies remember good manners- to sit before treats, coming inside, and to wait nicely for food.
Pets
A typical day
If toys get brought with your dog, then we will definitely get them out to play! I always take the dog’s temperament and exercise needs into account- if they want to play, then we play or go for a walk or run, or go to the dog park. If they want to chill and take it easy beside me while I work, then we do that too!

- I always prefer knowing feeding schedules, preferences, bathroom habits, and where they like to sleep. I prefer dogs that have a crate and are comfortable with it, because it helps me know they are safe when I step out to run errands or take my daughter to school or what have you.
