I just graduated high school and am taking a gap year. I am looking to fill that year by being around animals. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my own two cats and dogs daily, and I build my schedule around providing dependable care for the pets I'm responsible for. Since I have a flexible schedule, I'm available for morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend visits, walks, and overnight stays.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special requests. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean living space, and plenty of attention based on their individual personalities and needs. Safety is a top priority of mine. I double-check doors, gates, and fences to make sure they're locked and secure. I treat every home with respect by keeping it clean, locking up when I leave, and following any household instructions provided by the owner. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates and photos to help the owner feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away.

A typical day
I love making sure every pet stays happy, active, and engaged while their owners are away. Depending on each pet's personality, energy level, or different needs, I'm happy to go on walks, play fetch or tug-of-war, play with their favorite toys, practice basic commands, provide enrichment activities, or simply spend quality time giving them attention and affection. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys, brushing (if they enjoy it), and providing plenty of companionship. I always tailor activities to each pet's age, energy level, and comfort so they can have fun while feeling safe and relaxed.

I have a dog of my own who is leash-aggressive, so I am used to handling big, aggressive dogs.
