My partner, Martin, and I care for dogs together, so your pup is never without attention. Martin works from home full-time, and I work part-time as a nurse just five minutes up the street, which means one of us is always nearby. We offer boarding in our home on weekends and during the week. On the three days I work, I’m close enough to pop home easily for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and extra cuddles—and Martin is home the entire time as well. Because of our schedules, dogs in our care receive frequent check-ins, consistent routines, and lots of human presence throughout the day. While we don’t offer in-home stays, we pride ourselves on providing a calm, attentive, and reliable boarding environment so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

We have a secure potty station in our apartment building and also live across from Crane cove park for safe and fun walks with you pet (on leash). We are also happy to take your dog to the beach or their favorite destinations with your permission!

Information Ashley M. would like to know about your pet
Martin and I are both very experienced working with dogs with special needs (elderly, disabled, or behavioral issues). We want to make sure both you and your pet are as comfortable as possible, and we are very safe in the care that we provide. We’re also very experienced at giving oral medications or injections, if needed (I’m a nurse and also cared for a lovable elderly Great Dane for many years.)
A typical day
When caring for your pet, we’ll ensure they have a great experience filled with activities like long walks, playful fetch sessions, and interactive playtime at the nearby dog park. Living in a very dog-friendly neighborhood means your furry friend will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and explore (responsibly, of course!) We’ll enjoy stimulating games, mental exercises, and lots of outdoor adventures, ensuring they stay happy and healthy while you’re away. We know how hard it can be for both, a pet and a human to be away from one another, so we promise to love and protect your furry friend with our whole hearts while you’re away.

As passionate animal lovers with a deep affection for all creatures, my partner, Martin, and I bring extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Martin works from home, and I work part-time as a nurse up the street. With our combined schedules, your pet will have constant love, attention and will receive consistent, hands-on care. After 12 wonderful years, I sadly lost my sweet Great Dane, Georgie, but I take great comfort in sharing that love and dedication with the pets we care for today. Being his caregiver gave me invaluable insight into the unique needs, personalities, and care required for breeds of all sizes. Martin has also been a devoted dog parent to both large and small dogs, and together we truly understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet when you have to be away. That understanding is at the heart of how we approach pet care. Our commitment is to provide exceptional, attentive care - ensuring every dog receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, consistency, and affection. Living near a dog park allows us to offer regular outdoor play and socialization, helping your pup feel happy, secure, and at ease while you’re away. We would be honored to be the trusted companions your pet deserves!

Ashley & Martin were AMAZING! What I loved most were the updates, pics and summary of how Lunas day went. When I came to pick up our 11 year old husky, I don’t think she wanted to leave quite yet 😂. Luna was loved/cared for well. Would highly recommend.
Loki had a great time with Ashley & Martin! They took him for walks and gave him lots of love and cuddles every day. They also sent us updates about his day and photos. We felt like Loki was in good hands while we were on vacation and would highly recommend Ashley & Martin for dog sitting!
Ashley and Martin were amazing with our senior dog, Capi! She has a specific routine for her meals, medications, and walks, and they followed all of our instructions with great care. We also loved the detailed updates—they gave us so much peace of mind. We’re very selective about who watches Capi, especially as she’s gotten older, and we felt completely at ease. When we picked her up, she was happy, calm, and it was clear she had been well cared for. We highly recommend Ashley and Martin!
