Hi, I’m Ash! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a cozy, pet-friendly home and six pets of my own. Your dog will be welcomed as part of the pack and cared for with plenty of attention, enrichment, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’ve also completed classes in dog behavior and training, which helps me understand each pet’s unique personality, needs, routines, and quirks. I’m detail-oriented, safety-minded, and committed to making every stay comfortable, happy, and stress-free. I carry pet-care insurance through PCI and am conveniently located about 15 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), making drop-offs and pickups easy for travelers.

Ashley was great with my Malinois. My dog instantly warmed up to her and integrated well into her household. Having other dogs around was a new experience for mine, and Ashley worked with her to slowly meet the other dogs as she gained confidence. Ashley was very communicative and provided lots of updates, photos, and videos. She kept my do happy and engaged with lots of play sessions, walks, and puzzles
Bella had such a great time during her stay! I loved getting updates and being able to see that she was happy, comfortable, and having the best time while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was being well taken care of. She came home a happy girl, and we’ll definitely be booking again for future trips. Highly recommend! 🐾

Ashley was great! I highly recommend! I’ve never boarded before so was unsure how Lola would adjust to being in someone else’s home. From the very beginning I could tell she would just fine. Ashley took the time to meet us the day before the boarding. She communicated extremely well and sent lots of great photos keeping me updated. I’ll definitely book again!

Schedule
I’m fortunate to provide full-time, attentive pet care from home. As a natural homebody, I enjoy gardening, baking, making homemade soaps, and, most of all, spending time with my kids and pets. When appropriate for each dog, I love taking outings and hikes at parks around Houston. I have a passenger van that can safely accommodate multiple pets, complete with dog seat belts for secure transportation. For dogs who are not comfortable with walks or may need a calmer environment, I provide plenty of supervised playtime, enrichment, and fresh-air fun in our home and yard.

My fully fenced backyard is a dedicated dog play space with fun enrichment activities, including a pool, splash pad, balance equipment, and more. I’m always making thoughtful upgrades to keep the space engaging and enjoyable. Inside, I provide toys, lick and sniff mats, treat puzzles, and a variety of kennel sizes to help pets stay comfortable and mentally stimulated. Safety is always my priority. During brief errands, dogs are safely kenneled unless they are known to be comfortable and trustworthy outside of a crate. Pets are also fed separately or in their kennels to support calm, safe mealtimes and help prevent food-related conflicts. Please let me know in advance if your dog is not crate trained so we can discuss the best arrangement for their stay.

A typical day
I provide daily walks, weather permitting, with two nearby neighborhood parks for fresh air and exploration. I’m experienced walking multiple dogs and tailor activities to each pet’s energy level, comfort, and individual needs. At home, dogs can enjoy supervised backyard water play, from chasing the hose to splashing in the pool. On rainy or very hot days, we keep busy indoors with tug, chase, hide-and-seek, cardboard enrichment, scent games, and treat puzzles. I believe mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets are closely supervised as I move through my daily routines—whether they choose to hang out nearby, play, or relax in the yard. I understand that every dog is different, especially those with separation anxiety, and I adjust care, activity, and comfort measures to help each guest feel safe, calm, and at home.

- Before your pet’s stay, I’d love to learn about their usual routine, sleeping preferences, diet, medications or medical needs, and any sensitivities or behaviors around other animals or children. This helps me provide care that feels familiar, safe, and personalized. Please also let me know whether you are comfortable with your pet receiving occasional dog-safe treats or foods, such as peanut butter, eggs, or cream cheese. ** For the health and safety of every guest, all pets must be current on core vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and routine deworming.
