Hey there, I’m Ash. I live a very homestead life despite being in a big city. I am a natural-born animal nurturer. I’ve been around a variety of animals my whole life. I have 6 pets of my own currently. We love having a house full of pets! So when your pet stays with us, they’ll be treated as part of the pack. Whether it’s a fun park outing, a relaxed walk, or cozy couch cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I also take great pride in being attention to detail. That skill allows me to form a bond with your pet to get to know their interests and quirks. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s a way of life for me. Additionally, I have insurance through PCI. My home is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Bush Airport (IAH), making drop-offs and pick-ups especially quick and convenient for travelers.

Ashley has been amazing sitter. She treated Roxy like her own. We were frequently being updated with pics and videos and relaxed while we were on an extended trip to India. Ashley also helped with pick up and drop off our pet which helped make this journey very smooth for us. Our dog learnt few good things and how to live with Cats while she was at Ashley’s place. I recommend Ashley for any pet care and services and thank her for taking care of my puppy.
I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter. She took exceptional care of my.Harlei and treated her like her own. My dog can require a little extra attention and Ashley handled everything perfectly. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me total piece of mine while vacationing in Aruba. I highly recommend her and will absolutely use her again.

First time using Rover and we got super lucky with Ashley! Very caring with Luna and her own puppies. From pictures I can see Luna had an amazing time full of love and fun! Very grateful for Ashley
Ashley was fantastic watching Tucker. As soon as I dropped him off he was on a walk and playing with other dogs a few minutes later. Highly recommend, I’ll be using Ashley in the future.

Schedule
I enjoy having the opportunity to be home full time for pet care. I am a natural homebody who has many hobbies from gardening to making homemade soaps to baking to just spending time with my pets and kids. When able, I enjoy taking hikes with dogs in the parks around Houston. I have a passenger van that allows for multiple pets at once. Even they have seatbelts. But there are times that maybe some dogs aren’t used to walks or has some concerning behavior while out so I will make plenty of play time around the house and yard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard, that is a dedicated doggie play area, complete with different activities such as pool, splash pad, balance bar, etc.. I am constantly making upgrades as we go. I also have toys, lick/sniff mats, and treat puzzles to keep your pet engaged and happy. I have extra kennels, variety of sizes. When I am briefly away for errands, dogs are safely and comfortably housed in kennels unless they can be trusted to be out. Dogs are kept kenneled for their own safety while I’m not around. They are also kenneled or separated for feeding times to prevent any food aggression. Please let me know upfront if your dog is NOT kennel/crate trained.

A typical day
I am able to provide daily walks (weather permitting) as my neighborhood has 2 parks right by. I have experience with walking multiple dogs at once. My dogs love playing in water in the backyard whether they are chasing the water hose or splashing in the pool. In inclement weather, we are able to interact indoors with often playing tug, chase, or hide and seek or simply tearing up cardboard. I also hide treats in old shirts and turn off the lights and throw treats out. I like to be sure their minds get properly stimulated. I’m often working around my home, keeping up with different task and most of the time the dogs either follow me around playing a little as we go or they are off doing their own thing in the yard somewhere but they are always in my eye view. Every pet has their own unique personality and some have different requirements needed for their stay. Especially those with separation anxiety. So not everyday may be the same but I do understand the importance of making sure your pet gets their mental & physical stimulations met and feels at peace.
