Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I currently work part-time and also volunteer with research labs as I prepare for graduate school. While I’m unavailable for extended weekday house-sitting due to my work schedule, I have availability for evening and weekend pet care and am committed to providing reliable, attentive care. I’m used to structuring my day around animals, whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication administration, or simply providing companionship. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets, and caring for them is something I look forward to. I strive to follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible and adapt to their individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic and loves activity or prefers a calmer environment and extra cuddles, I aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

I care for every pet like they’re my own. I always make sure they have fresh water, are fed on their normal schedule, and stick to their usual routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. For dogs, I provide at least two walks a day along with plenty of outdoor time, play, and attention based on their energy level. I love going on walks or trails, but I’m just as happy hanging out at home with them and giving them lots of love and companionship. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m very respectful of your space and make sure everything stays clean and organized. I follow all care instructions closely and keep you updated so you feel at ease while you’re away. If pets are in my home, they’ll be in a safe, calm environment with lots of supervision and attention. My goal is always the same, to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved the entire time you’re gone.

I like to know as much as possible about each pet ahead of time so I can provide the best care. This includes their feeding schedule, daily routine, energy level, and personality. I also like to know if they have any medical needs, allergies, or medications. It’s really helpful to understand their behavior as well, things like how they do on walks, if they’re reactive to other dogs or people, if they have any anxieties, and what helps them feel most comfortable. I also ask about their favorite activities, toys, and any training or commands they know so I can keep things consistent for them. Overall, I want to make sure I’m fully prepared so your pet feels safe, happy, and as comfortable as possible while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! For dogs, I enjoy going on walks (including trails if they like a little adventure), playing fetch, and doing interactive play that matches their energy level. I also like incorporating a bit of basic training or mental stimulation through games to keep them engaged. If they’re more relaxed, I’m just as happy spending time cuddling, hanging out, or keeping them company so they don’t feel alone.

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including large breeds like German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Labs, and Belgian Malinois, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. For the past 4 years, I’ve been dog sitting and have experience caring for puppies as well as older dogs with different routines and needs. I have references from previous clients who can speak to my reliability and how well I care for their pets. I also have a college degree and bring a strong sense of responsibility and trust to every job. I love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, taking them on trails, playing, or just relaxing at home. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I also love cats and am happy to care for them too, though most of my experience is with dogs!
