Most importantly, please tell me about their activity level and how well they get along with other dogs. I’d also love to know if they are food motivated, if they have any fear/trigger, and what their tendencies are.

When dogs are left in daycare, they are always stressed, whether visibly or not. That’s why I try to give them some space at the beginning of the day to let them explore the new environment on their own and feel safe around myself and my own pups. Then I engage in fun and affirming getting-to-know activities, with treats as positive reinforcement if you are comfortable. We also have outdoor time twice a day, including a midday playtime at a dog park and a neighborhood walk later in the afternoon. I also believe each dog should get a tailored agenda based on their personality, so I’d love to talk to you to create a plan that works well for your pup.
