I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, from feeding times and potty breaks to play sessions and rest. For dogs, that might include walks in nature or playtime in the yard. For cats, quiet enrichment, grooming, or just peaceful companionship. I check in often with updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured. My day flows around the needs of the animals I care for, so they always feel safe, loved, and attended to.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, and even more exotic pets in both urban homes and rural off-grid environments. Whether it’s walks, belly rubs, or administering medicine, I treat every animal as a unique being with their own personality and needs. Friends and community members often turn to me for pet care because they know I genuinely love and respect animals as soulful companions.

Ashley was communicative and quickly responsive as well as proactive about reaching out to us while she stayed with our pets. Despite a power outage and brief illness, she took amazing care of our dogs, and they fell totally in love with her. I highly recommend her for anyone who wants peace of mind abt their pets while they travel.
Ashley was not a good fit for my 2 dogs and I had expectations around what "house-sitting" meant that I did not clearly communicate. I have one 8 month old puppy (energetic and not fully in control/trained) and a 6 year old lab/GSH who is also very athletic. I was about 10 days out of the house and while no permanent damage was done, ashley's level of dog and house care did not meet my (unstated) expectations. In the future I will more clearly state my expectations for house sitting (daily walks, even if one at a time, putting dirty dishes away, daily poop pick-up, etc)
Ashley was very caring with my two little ones. She gave me periodic reports and I felt comfortable with the care she gave them. She knew about meds and handled giving them. This was important since my two are older dogs.
Wonderfully helpful and communicative. She truly went above and beyond for our animals!
