Walks occur 4-5 times daily I work from home (run an “Etsy” gift shop ) so it’s am able to be dialed into your pets every single need.

When boarding with me at the “Mountainside Mutt Hutt” dogs have full run of the entire home (beds & couches included!) If staying in your home I ask the homeowner to leave a detailed “lesson plan” for this recently “retired” special educator. I follow all directions to the letter. As a licensed therapist, I understand the value of trust & confidentiality. With me, you are able to enjoy your time away from home completely stress free- knowing a competent, reliable professional is taking care of your home & pups!

Pictures and videos will be sent throughout appointment. ***work for a larger corporation? Inquire about BRIGHT HORIZONS “back up care” coverage; in which you can convert unused child care credits, for Rover credits!!!***
A typical day
Walks around our beautiful neighborhood. Our house (which is super dog friendly) is filled with safe dog toys. Our house floor plan offers plenty of space for dogs to run, roam, or have their own spectate space should they choose. Should you choose to board with us- please know dogs are very rarely left in the home alone.

Hi! My name is Ashley and I am a super proud dog mom:) not only am I a certified special education teacher, I am also a licensed counselor. The therapeutic benefits that dogs offer us daily is truly remarkable. I have never met a dog I didn’t love..My family and I have had multiple dogs our whole lives. I have volunteered for 2 prominent Dog organizations in NJ. We have fostered rescue dogs in the past and are hopping to have a seeing eye puppy placed in our care in the future. Everyone around me loves and respects dogs. My best friend even happens to be a vet! Veteran educator now working from home. I am available every day of the week for walks and play dates. Boarding also considered. Dogs walked every 2/ 4 hours depending on age and need. I have 2 amazing dogs to keep your pet company should you choose to board. For walks, I am a seasoned professional who understands the value of trust and reliance. Your pets will be well cared for when they are entrusted to my care. To ease anxieties an apple itag is available to be placed on your dogs collar while they are in my care.

Happy and relieved to have found our new go-to dog-sitter!! Ashley was so kind and loving toward our girl, Piper. She brought her into her home as if she was one of her own. She is very conscientious and has lots of little things in place to ensure your dog is comfortable and safe. I really appreciated all of the pictures and videos she sent so we could see that our girl was happy and loving life at Ashley’s house. We will definitely be using her for boarding going forward!
Ashley was a great care giver at her home for our 9 year old golden retriever. She is very warm and a pleasure to deal with, and she gave us total peace of mind that he was in good hands. We very much look forward to working with her in the future.
