Animal Enthusiast - Noah's Arc

I have always loved animals since I was young. I have always had at minimum 3 dogs in my home growing up. I appreciate their love, compassion, and dedication to human beings. It does not matter to me what size, disabilities, or struggles, as long as I am able to take care of them and provide all the care they need, I am happy. I appreciate the fact as well that someone allows me the privilege to take care of their loved ones, as to me, they are part of the family! I have a local dog park as well for fun times, plenty of in-house toys, and lots of love to give. I am an athletic person so walks are a joy! I currently sit for my neighbor frequently and they are now my kids too!

Ashley was amazing our dog bonded with her immediately and she went the extra mile to do a meet and greet prior and arrived on time and stayed until we got home even though we were delayed. She gave our dog daily medication and sent many photo updates throughout the stay. She was super tidy and we will be a repeat customer for sure and loved having our dog in such capable hands.

Ashley is a wonderful pet sitter; both dependable and trustworthy. You can tell she loves animals, spending time during visits not just feeding them, but actually giving the pets love and attention. During my time away, she kept me up to date on the cats' status and sent a lot of photos of the cats being cared for.

Ashley was wonderful with my dog Max! We booked last minute and Ashley was so kind and accommodating. She has a beautiful home that Max had free reign in, and a nice big fenced yard. We just arrived home and Max is sleeping (hard) because I know he was very active at Ashley's--playing, walking and exploring. I cannot recommend Ashley enough!

Ashley watched our Lady this weekend. Lady just loves her. I got lots of pictures and updates. You can tell when your dog likes someone and Lady had a good time. Highly recommended.

READ THIS REVIEW!!! Like seriously - just read it. Okay - I have to start this off by setting the tone for the kind of care I hope for and expect my two pups, Titus & Leia. I have a general "pet resume" that I use as a guide for anyone who cares for my pups, so that the expectations are clear for everyone, and so I can truly feel like I am doing everything within my power to ensure my babies will get the same level of love, care and attention that they get with me in my home. So need I further explain the high standards I have for pet care? hah! There would not be a world in which I could not write a review for Ashley & Jonathan after the level of care and genuine affection they showed my pups while I was away. After a last ditch effort to find someone who could do in-home pet sitting for me while I was to take a week long trip out of state during some really challenging personal circumstances, I found Ashely & Jonathan. I was hopeful that it could work out because they were available (with less than a weeks notice), and able to accommodate an in-home stay, even with the restriction I had with one of my pups (Leia), who does not really do well with other dogs outside of her brother (Titus). Within an hour or so of me sending my request, they promptly responded and we scheduled a meet & greet ASAP! Their home was beautiful, with an awesome neighborhood full of grassy areas and plenty of snuffle-friendly zones haha. We walked and talked, and hung around for a while to see how the pups comfortability would be - and it was fantastic - could not have asked for a better vibe. The biggest factor that I NEED you to understand is that, in the 8 years my pups and I have been enjoying life together, I had never - and I do mean never - left them with anyone they did not know, and especially not for a week. So I certainly still had my nerves about the ordeal. So - let's fast forward to my actual time away. While on my trip, they were fantastic about accommodating every little thing outlined in my care guide, and kept me up to date each day with pictures and monologues on my pups' days. A day or so into the weeklong stay, Ashely let me know that Leia, my sweet little girl, was clearly having separation anxiety and it had turned her little bum into a leaking poop-lava faucet ALL. WEEK. LONG. Just take a second and imagine the amount of work that goes into cleaning up watery diarrhea from a dog that can't help what's pouring of out of her butt, meanwhile she licks you because she is happy to be around you - that's my little one. haha I was equally saddened, concerned and mortified that this was going on in the first (and also lengthy) stay with Ashely & Jonathan. However, I seriously cannot write enough words to express how grateful I am that Ashely & Jon were the people this happened with. They were so caring and attentive to the concerns - and good God were they patient! They even went the extra mile to switch up her meals and prepare her HOMEMADE meals after going on special grocery runs to pickup supplies. They were truly incredible and went beyond what the average "pet-sitter" would do, and in fact treat the animals that they care for like their own family. The final note I'll mention here is this: I am a budget friendly gal. I'm a thrift-store, make-it-yourself, save where you can kind of woman. And if cost is something you are weighing in terms of comparison of a few bucks a day and you have the means to do it - PAY THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS. It is so worth it if you have a desire to truly make sure your pups are not just tolerated and kept alive, but actually loved and cared for while you're away. -- Thanks Ashley & Jon! (Titus and Leia thank you will their whole little butt-waggling body & hearts!)

I have a local dog park in Pen Argyl that provides a fenced in area for small or large breeds. I enjoy the outdoors and walks so all are fair game, depending on the activity level of the dog! I have a large, enclosed backyard as well to let the fur baby run until their heart is content.
