Pet care experience

Your Pet(s) Are Part of Our Family

I have a deep love for animals and years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, especially senior dogs. I understand that older pets often require extra patience, attention, and gentle care, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced in administering both oral and topical medications and am comfortable following detailed care routines to ensure pets stay healthy and happy. Whether it’s managing medication schedules, providing calm companionship, or adapting to mobility or dietary needs, I take pride in giving each pet the individualized care they deserve. Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own. Building trust with pets and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I strive to create a stress-free, nurturing environment where animals feel secure, cared for, and genuinely loved.

Mickey said he enjoyed his vacation with Ashley & Jerrell. At home is is the only furry friend, so he enjoyed his time with other dogs. Ashley & Jerrell sent many videos that showed him eating, being outside with other dogs, and eating snacks. This helped us to relax because we were concerned that he would miss us and not eat because he was stressed. Ashley & Jerrell also sent reassurances in emails that he was eating and sleeping. We appreciate them being able to watch Mickey at short notice when our regular sitter had to cancel at the last minute.

Ashley and Jerrell T have been so helpful! I had many emergencies and car problems which caused repeated extensions of dog sitting. They even went above and beyond to get Oliver more sweet potato chips and additional dog food. They helped relieve the stress and worry about caring for my dog. Thanks so much a gazillion times!

Ashley & Jerrell took such great care of Mochi while we were away! They kept us updated with pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Mochi came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. They were kind, communicative, and made us feel like he was treated as part of their family. We would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Schedule

For boarding, your pet will have a structured and caring environment throughout the day. I work full time from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and my boyfriend works from 5:30 AM to 1:30-3:00ish PM, which means there are a few hours in the late afternoon when pets would be home alone. In the mornings, pets will get potty breaks, fresh water, and breakfast before the day begins. My boyfriend is home by early afternoon and is able to give them attention, potty breaks, and companionship during that time. When I return home in the evening, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, walks (for dogs), feeding if needed, and a calm, relaxing evening routine.

Safety, trust & environment

Mornings usually start with potty breaks in the yard for the dogs, followed by breakfast and fresh water for everyone. After that, there’s some relaxed time while everyone settles into the day. Our two resident dogs are friendly and used to having other animals around, and our two cats are part of the household rhythm as well. During the afternoon, the dogs get more time outside in the fenced yard for potty breaks and play. There’s also indoor time for rest, toys, and companionship. We make sure pets have comfortable spaces where they can relax and feel at home. In the evening when everyone is home, the animals get plenty of attention, playtime, and interaction. Dogs can enjoy additional outdoor time in the yard, and all pets receive dinner if it’s part of their routine. The night usually winds down with a calm, cozy environment where the animals can relax and settle in comfortably. Throughout the day, I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs—whether they want to play, explore the yard, or simply relax nearby. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment where every pet feels like part of the family while they’re staying with us.

To help provide a safe, comfortable stay, please let me know if your dog has any food, toy, or other resource-guarding behaviors, or any history of aggression toward people or other dogs. Also, please share any medical conditions, medications, daily routines, or special care instructions your dog needs.
