***Everyone in our household is fully vaccinated!*** Hello, we're Jeff & Ash! Animal lovers, like everyone else on Rover! We can provide housesitting, feedings, visitations, and walks. We are comfortable working with all kinds of animals, including small critters, reptiles and barnyard friends with instruction. We have worked both as a team and individually on Rover since 2016, and love the flexibility and autonomy it offers as a part time gig. One of our favorite perks of the job - outside of getting TLC time with lots on animals - is that we meet so many folks within our community. As newcomers to BC from the States, this feels like an even more important time to meet folks within our community and build connections for local community care. In our home we have two cats (Agatha & Honeymoon), and one chow-rott mix (Oberon). We use Rover to supplement our income by making strong, recurring connections within our own community. Should our schedules and needs align, we would love to be regular dog-walkers or play-givers for your pup during the week, or trusted hoo-mans for your furchild on the weekends when you go on vacation. Pets are family and deserve to have the same trusted relationships with caregivers as people do. We aim to bring that authenticity to your home.

Safety, trust & environment
We try to mimic your normal routine as best we can to provide consistency for the animal. Describe your rituals, routes, and routines - we will do our best to follow them to a T! For overnights, we are house-sitters as well as animal-sitters. We can water plants, check mail, whatever you need done while you're gone! Additionally, if your dog is dog-friendly, we can bring them to my place during the day to have a playdate in our half-acre yard with my pup, Obie.

Ashley and Jeff have been amazing so far. They have been taking the time to get to know our two dogs, understand their personalities and support them and their quirks! Ashley and Jeff have been so patient, calm, and kind with our two dogs (one of whom is reactive and fearful of strangers… and the world). We appreciate them so much!
Ashley and Jeffrey are simply the best. They give our dogs the utmost attention and leave our home in better shape than it was before we left. We can’t recommend them enough!

Schedule
We are very flexible to take bookings currently as we are transitioning between jobs and school. Generally though once we have a more routine schedule, we like to do weekend overnights, or morning/evening checkins. Mid-day on weekdays can be difficult depending on work schedules.
