Hello, I'm Ashley! I'm a huge dog lover and proud auntie to a gorgeous Cavapoo, so I know just how much our four-legged family members mean to us. Having used boarding services ourselves, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust and who will keep you updated while you're away. After 15 years as a teacher, I recently started my own business working from home. As a DBS-checked professional, I'm organised, reliable and used to caring for others. I bring that same level of responsibility and attention to every dog I look after. Working from home also means I have the flexibility to provide plenty of company, care and attention throughout the day. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting and boarding. Whether your dog is happiest staying in the comfort of their own home or enjoying a home-from-home stay with me, I'll always take the time to understand their routine, personality and individual needs. I live in a detached house with a secure enclosed garden in a lovely village, surrounded by parks and open fields; perfect for enriching walks and adventures. I'm an active person who enjoys running, football and spending time outdoors, so whether your dog prefers energetic walks or a slower pace, I'll make sure they get the exercise and attention that's right for them. I know every dog is different, which is why I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know one another, make sure we're the right fit and ensure your dog will feel comfortable and settled in my care. I'll always treat your dog with kindness, patience and respect and you will receive regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe and well looked after.

Ashley is simply fabulous with Indie our toy poodle. Indie has never stayed away from home and was absolutely fine. She was loved and all of our wishes taken care of. I would highly recommend Ashley if you want that personal service for your dog.
Here’s a smoother, more natural version for a review: This was Simba’s first full visit after his initial trial, and we were really pleased with the experience. Both times, Ashley looked after him professionally and with great care. Simba had some lovely walks, and as soon as we picked him up, we could tell that he was happy, relaxed and had clearly enjoyed himself. Ashley also kept us updated by regularly sharing photos, which was very reassuring. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their dog.
Ashley has looked after my Cavapoo, Hodson, for walks, day visits and while I’ve been away on holiday. She’s always followed all of my instructions carefully, from his feeding routine and walks to his bedtime schedule, so I know he’s receiving the same care he gets at home. She’s incredibly reliable, caring and trustworthy, and it’s obvious how much she enjoys spending time with dogs. I always feel completely at ease leaving Hodson with her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and dependable dog sitter or walker.

Schedule
As I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have the flexibility to plan my day around walks, visits and quality time with the dogs in my care, ensuring they receive plenty of attention and aren't left alone for long periods. I love spending time outdoors, whether that's exploring local parks and countryside or simply enjoying a stroll around the village, so walks are something I genuinely look forward to every day. I can also be flexible to accommodate your dog's usual routine wherever possible.

Every dog is different, so I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine and any specific needs before caring for them. I'll follow your instructions carefully, whether that's feeding times, walking preferences, medication, favourite toys or bedtime routines, to help your dog feel as settled and comfortable as possible. In my own home, dogs will have access to a secure enclosed garden and plenty of companionship throughout the day, as I work from home. My home is clean, calm and located in a lovely village with easy access to parks and countryside walks. If I'm caring for your dog in your home, I'll treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. I'll keep everything clean and tidy, stick to your dog's normal routine as closely as possible, and make sure your pet receives lots of care, attention and regular exercise. Before any booking, I'm always happy to arrange a meet and greet. It's a great way for us to get to know each other, answer any questions and make sure we're all comfortable that it's the right fit for both you and your dog.
