I currently work as an emergency veterinary assistant Wednesday through Saturday, so I’m available for pet care on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, with limited evening availability on workdays. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly and provide reliable, dependable care when your pet needs me.

During every visit, I’ll follow your care instructions carefully, make sure your pet has fresh water, food (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. As an emergency veterinary assistant with pet CPR/First Aid training, I’m experienced recognizing when something may not be normal and will contact you immediately if I have any concerns. I’ll also send photo updates so you know how your pet is doing.

I also appreciate knowing if they’re reactive to other animals, have escape tendencies, or have any medical conditions. A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, enrichment, cuddles, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care and attention. During each visit I’ll provide fresh water, feeding if requested, potty breaks, exercise appropriate for the weather, and lots of love before sending you an update with photos.

Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’ve been caring for animals for over 8 years. I currently work as an emergency veterinary assistant, where I care for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and medical needs every day. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, administering oral medications, nail trims, and caring for anxious or shy animals. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority, and I’ll treat them with the same love and patience I’d want for my own pets. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, playtime, feeding, medication, or just some extra attention while you’re away, you can count on me to provide reliable, compassionate care. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your family member, and I strive to give every pet the attention and care they deserve.

Ashley H. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Well, i think my dog lost some weight after 4 days of being under her care. Was she feeding my dog? I don't know. But i see the bag i gave her looks almost untouched. After i picked him up and sent him to another sitter, he ate like he hasnt eaten in days. Again this is just my assumption. Ashley never communicated with me or sent pics like other sitters do.
Ashley H. was an answer to prayers. We don’t know many people in the area, yet. We are so thankful we found Rover. Ashley did an excellent job with our dogs. I’m not sure they knew we were gone. We completely expect to book her in the future.
