I grew up in household that always had lots of pets. I can’t remember a time we ever had less than 2 dogs and 2 cats at one time. I was always in charge of feeding and cleaning up after the cats and dogs from a very young age. My husband and I had a rat terrier for 6 years that we loved. He was high energy so I’m used to dogs who need a lot of walks and need to run around at the dog park for hours. I feel comfortable around all animals and feel confident in caring for and loving other people’s pets. I’m excited for this opportunity to be around many types of dogs that I have never been around before.

Rue's first day-stay with Ashley and kids and cat was good. Rue had a fair-sized fenced yard to be in and was also welcome in the house. Ashley got back to me in a timely manner. I very much appreciated her calm and welcoming demeanour, with 3 kids too! There is a baby in the house. Rue and baby were fine. Rue did get a walk in as well. There are toys around the house and Rue chewed one which didn't appear to be a problem for the little boy. Thanks for that. My dog is a bit human-needy. He must have gotten a good amount of attention as his behaviour was as-per-usual at pickup time.
Ashley was very easy to work with. She has a sweet family and Brandy came home happy! We will leave Brandy with her the next time we travel to Merrit!
Ashley took great care of me dachshunds. She gave me daily updates and handled an upset dog stomach like a pro. Highly recommend!
Our puppy was a little excited at first but she did a great job and would recommend :)

I would highly recommend Ashley H. as a dog sitter. She has been around and loved animals her entire life. She has always had pets and became responsible for their care and feeding at a young age. She especially loves taking them on walks and to dog parks. She has personally taken care of my dogs on many occasions and I’ve always been happy with how they were cared for and loved.
