Dogs are my passion in life! I have worked with dogs ever since I was ten. I would care for the neighbors pets for them while they were away and continue to do so to this day! I worked at a dog boarding facility for six years and then went on to become the manager of their dog daycare center. I am experienced in administering insulin for diabetic dogs as well as everyday vitamins for even the most stubborn of dogs. I also have experience with senior dogs that are mobility-impaired that need a support harness to move around and to go outside. I devote my time to caring for your dog as if they were my own!

Ashley was incredible! We left our two year old pup with her for 6 days over an holiday weekend and at one point I felt like she was a better caretaker for my Chloe than me! She did all of her favorite things. They went on hikes, ate treats, laid around on the couch, played, and then played some more. She kept me updated daily and it was so nice knowing that Chloe was in such good hands! I am so happy that we found Ashley to take care of our pup!

Schedule
Caring for your pet is my full time job. I’m available to board in my home or care for your pet in your home. I currently do not stay overnight but I am happy to care for your pet in my home. We can schedule potty breaks as you feel they would need them. I have a flexible schedule and will do my best to work with yours!

Safety, trust & environment
Your dogs will be cared for in my home. I have a fenced in yard and enjoy taking my clients dogs on walks. I have two dogs of my own, a Dachshund, and a German Shorthaired Pointer. Both dogs are great with other dogs and ready to play! I allow dogs on the furniture (unless you specify not to allow them) and have plenty of toys for them to play with. Please let me know if your dog is toy or food aggressive and I will work with them accordingly. Exercise, play, and mental stimulation is how I strive to connect with your dog. I look forward to getting to know your pets and loving them as if they are my own!

A typical day
I love to take the dogs for walks around my neighborhood on the greenbelts and by the ponds. For clients that want their dog to get the ultimate exercise, I take the dogs hiking and swimming (no extra charge). Activities such as hiking would depend on client preferences and your dogs fitness level. At home, I provide mental stimulation games like surprise box play and obedience training regularly.
