A typical day
When your pup is under my care, the world is our oyster! I am a freelance writer, so your pup could definitely hang out with me while I work at home. In that respect, I’m a good fit for pups that are used to having a human presence around them during the day. I love to exercise, so your pooch will be right at home with me if they like to get out and about! I love to hike, and your pup could definitely come along with me one one of my excursions. I try to hike once a week and just love being outside in general. Whether that’s for a short walk around the neighborhood or a nice long jog, I’m just happy being outside!

I love absolutely everything about dogs, and consider them to be my number one priority in life! They love unconditionally, help cheer you up when you're down, are quite simple to please once you know them and truly are your best friend. I love having a companion to snuggle with on the couch but also go on hikes with all day. I became a pet sitter to do everything I can to make sure that every pup is as happy as can be! It’s great to give back to them and to give owners peace of mind by being there to take care of their pup while they’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pooch! I have a long history of working with animals. I have a dog of my own now and always have! I just can’t imagine living life without a canine companion by my side. I've had experience with all sorts of breeds and personalities including dogs that were aggressive towards dogs. I regularly take part in animal activism as a volunteer and help with rescues when I can. I’ve learned a great deal about pups in those capacities, and always bring as much love as I can muster to every pup that comes under my care. When taking on a new client, I find that it’s a good idea to schedule a meet-and-greet. That way, we can make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another and chat face-to-face about your care expectations. Plus, I get to meet a new dog! It’s a win-win all the way around. When meeting your pup, I always like to get on their level and make sure they know that I’m a welcome presence by letting them come to me and investigate first. I’m sure we’ll make fast friends! I have lots of questions for you and your pup, so the meet is a great way to put them on the table. When your pup is under my care, my number one priority is to make sure that you and your pup are completely comfortable and well taken care of. To that end, I always respect your dog and their needs. I am very attentive to their wants, and am always happy to follow your instructions to a “T”. Dogs are creatures of habit, so I always want to do what makes them the most comfortable! I’m also happy to send lots of updates your way with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! But no matter what, your pup’s health and happiness come first. **Very comfortable watching large animals (horses, pigs, cows, etc) as well as small animals (rabbits, reptiles, etc)**

Amazing as always! My dog Jax has a hard time with storms, and Ashley made sure he felt safe and loved during some intense thunder.

This was our first time having Ashley stay with our fur babies and they absolutely love her! We received daily updates and photos, communication was quick and easy and we returned to a clean home and happy pups! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience 🥰
My dog can be a little hard to handle sometimes but Ashley made him feel safe enough to where I felt comfortable leaving him with her. She took great care of him and my house. Would definately recommend her!!
