Availability
I offer housesitting and drop-in visits for your pets! I now offer a bath as an add-on as well :) My calendar is almost always accurate and updated for each service I offer, but I only open it up as far as the current month and sometimes the following month. You are more than welcome to message me if you have questions about availability, services, and pricing! :) (repeat clients especially should feel free to reach out any time!) DROP-IN VISITS I am available for 30 minute or 1 hour (or longer) visits to your home throughout the day, most days, unless all my spaces are filled. I have a flexible schedule and will stop by your home at your specified times to care for your pet, exercise them, and love them :) HOUSE SITTING I spend extended time in your home with your pet- and even sleep overnight if you’d like- to take care of them and keep them company. *Disclaimer- While I spend extended time in your home, I won't be there 24/7 unless agreed upon beforehand. I may leave at times, but I always make sure to spend plenty of time with your pet and care for them properly. If you’d like to come home to a fresh clean doggie, I’m happy to take them for a bath at the dog wash for an additional $50 before you come home as well :) I always leave your home the same or even better than I found it.

Your Pet & I- Your pets will love my observant, calm, but direct energy. I meet them where they are and connect with them on their level. I try to understand how your pet must be feeling while their parent is away, making sure they are safe, comfortable, and enjoy themselves. ****I can take care of pets of various temperaments- I am patient with shy/unsure pets and I love to build their confidence and sense of security. For energetic dogs, I like to exercise them and work on manners. During training, I am always patient with your dog and allow them to be their unique self. I use training to bond with your pet and center their energy; I’m not necessarily focused on teaching them a behavior- although that can be a nice bonus! I also like to play and be affectionate with animals who enjoy that :) Reliability- I am reliable. If we confirm a booking, something absolutely crazy would have to happen for me to cancel. I truly cannot think of a single time I’ve ever cancelled on a house/petsitting client in all of the years I’ve been doing this- even when I was young.

By start of service, I will have a pretty good picture of your family and pet’s unique needs, preferences, and boundaries, but initially, please tell me a little bit about you, your pet, and their schedule. Please let me know if your pets have any triggers so that I can be prepared in those situations- I promise to be patient with them :) Also let me know if you will need anything else- I really don’t mind taking trash to the curb, grabbing mail, watering plants, etc. I like to leave your home in the same or sometimes even slightly better condition than I found it. I’m already so excited to connect with you and your pet!
A typical day
I will feed and water your pets, clean up after them, and spend time with them- and of course- let you know how it all goes! I am communicative and one of my favorite parts of pet sitting is taking cute photos of your pet and writing up an update for you! I will update you in detail once or twice per day, (or at each drop-in visit) but often more than that. You can also message me as little or as much as you would like to :)

My loving empathy automatically makes me thoroughly care for your pet how I’d want my own cared for and communicate with you thoroughly. I do what I can to love and comfort your pets, provide you with peace of mind, and make the planning process easy for you. Although I’ve only been on Rover consistently for a little while, I’ve been caring for families and their homes for 18 years. I opened my first babysitting, housesitting, and dogsitting business at only 11 years old! It’s just in my nature to nurture. Your pets will love their time with me and you’ll love knowing things are taken care of at home. For safety reasons, I will only be accepting large dog clients that have fenced yards. thank you for understanding :)

Ashley took excellent care of our dogs. One of our dogs is leash-reactive and Ashley immediately understood how to relate to him and support him. Ashley is clearly highly experienced with animal care, and she took care of our dogs like they were her own. We came home to a clean house and two relaxed, happy dogs. Would highly recommend!
Ashley is wonderful! She was quick to respond to our initial request and came to do a meet and greet ahead of time so our senior dogs were familiar with her. Throughout her stay, she shared pics and updates and was very communicative. She even stayed an extra night to accommodate a family emergency. I would highly recommend Ashley!

ashley did such a good job!!! she watched wilson during my 13 hour shift and gave me so much peace of mind. she sent plenty of updates and pictures!!! i felt so confident that his needs were met and came home to a very happy puppy
