I currently work as a nurse three days a week, which gives me flexibility and availability on my other days off. During the summer especially, I love being outside, going on walks, and enjoying everything Colorado has to offer- and I love bringing dogs along for the fun and exercise.

I love making sure pets are not only cared for, but genuinely happy and engaged while their owners are away. Depending on each pet's personality and energy level, I enjoy neighborhood walks, playtime, fetch, enrichment toys, cuddle time, and calm companionship. I'm attentive to routines and enjoy giving pets both physical activity and and affection so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

Pet care experience
I've been around animals for over 30 years and have cared for pets of my own throughout my life. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and understand how important it is for pet owners to know their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they're away. As a nurse, I'm very attentive, calm under pressure, and highly aware of safety and changes in behavior. I'm skilled at assessing situations, noticing when something may not seem right, and making sure pets are cared for responsibly and thoughtfully. I'm also thorough, dependable, and patient, whether that means long walks, sticking to routines, or simply giving pets extra attention and companionship. While I'm not a professional trainer, I'm very comfortable handling dogs on walks and providing loving care for pets of different ages and personalities. I will care for your pets the same way I care for my own- with kindness, attention, and respect.

I have known Ashley for a number of years and have observed her kindness, patience and empathy be it human or dog. She loves walking her own dogs and also welcomes other dogs. I had a “Velcro” dog, but she managed to warm her heart. My dog was older, but Ashley always allowed the dog to prevail in speed. I would recommend Ashley in a heartbeat to take care of your dog.
Ashley is absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for safe, loving, and reliable care for their pets. She has cared for my goldendoodle, June, with so much kindness, patience, and attention, and I always feel completely comfortable knowing my dog is in her hands. Ashley is dependable, communicative, trustworthy, and genuinely loves animals, which shows in everything she does. She’s also just an awesome human being — thoughtful, warm, responsible, and easy to work with. Any pet would be lucky to have her care!
