Ready for Adventure!
A Different Approach: dogs should have a multidimensional life just like humans! By multidimensional I mean that they should have fun activities throughout the day that stimulate their senses, use their brains to solve puzzles/obstacles and gain new experiences through adventure! This is something I have incorporated in my successful pet sitting/boarding business I have in Washtenaw county changing countless pets lives and the standard of care they are provided. After moving to La Salle one year ago, my responsibilities have become completely remote allowing me to spend more time at home! Boarding a few dogs at our home has been such a wonderful experience and we are ready to add a few more furiends to our list! Do you think your dog is ready for a new experience while you are away enjoying yours?

Ratings and reviews
Ashley's amazing! She's nice, flexible, and always goes above and beyond with my dog and even goes out of her way to make sure he's comfortable and has a good visit 🙂. Super easygoing, she's never once been deterred by his sometimes erratic/unpredictable/naughty behaviors that I'm sure others wouldn't bother to put up with, and instead she actively works to find solutions to get him to listen. Daily walks, plenty of activities, consistent updates, she does it all flawlessly and takes a huge weight off my mind. I'd recommend her to anyone in a second!
I can't say enough wonderful things about Ashley and the service she provides. She makes it impossible to use anyone else - she's a wonderful communicator, flexible, professional, hard-working, absolutely dependable and most importantly you know how she cares for your dog like her own. It's clear that this career is truly a passion of hers and it's inspiring to me to see how she pours her heart into what she does. I feel so lucky to have found her.

Schedule
Pet care comes naturally in our house! We wake up about 6am for potties, have breakfast, then have an activity/adventure about 10-2, have a nice nap, have dinner, potty walks come after food and then play time for the dogs who have high energy or snuggles on the couch for those who are tuckered out from our day already then potty before bed about 10pm.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Dogs in our home are treated as part of the family! Our house is void of clutter for any curious chewers, plenty of comfy blankets for nap times, no sharp edges or glass anywhere to be hazardous for rambunctious days (aside from our kitchenware but the dogs eat from stainless steel dishwasher safe bowls rather than our human plates and bowls 🤣), we have a separate refrigerator for the dog food that needs to be refrigerated especially if a dog has a raw meat diet, each dog gets their own bin to put their things in like food and treats so that there is no cross contamination if someone has an allergy, we take every precaution for keeping pets from escaping including the double door method (making sure the dogs are behind one secured door in the play room before we open the front door for example). We also have multiple fenced in areas that are separated so that one yard is for potty, one for play time and one for stretching legs to keep everything clean and secured. If your dog is known to jump fences we will ask kindly to choose a different pet sitter with a fence higher than our 4ft fence to prevent any escaping. If your dog experiences the will to try to be curious of jumping a fence we do have a very long lead secured to cement so that they can still play safely. If there are ever any comments, questions or concerns we are completely transparent and hope all of our clients extend this kindness to us! Communication is so incredibly important to make sure all of our guests have the best time possible.
Pets
A typical day
We stimulate the 5 senses and mind! Taste: we provide many types of treats (within allergy guidelines) and provide kibbles in snuffle mats, lick mats, treat/kibble puzzles to get a fun experience in the little things! Hearing: although we do not do dog training we definitely work on a few things to make our lives easier and use words like “up, in, wait, here, let’s go, etc.” These listening skills help us keep your dog safe by asking them to wait at thresholds like the door before we go out for a walk, wait at cross walks for cars to go by, getting into the car and for recall when we are playing fetch in the fenced in yard. Sight: we go sight seeing often! We call them “field trips” where we take your dog and a friend to visit a local preserve, the beach or even a pet friendly store! Smell: we spice things up for our guests by walking them in different areas each day so they can sniff out new things, play scent games like “find it” with treat boxes and favorite toys and they get plenty of new smells on our field trips too! Touch: all of our furiends get lots and lots of attention while they are over! Wether it’s on the couch during snuggles, bed time or just having a good lay in the grass on a sunshiny day.
