Instinctively, I am a caretaker. I've had a long career in the medical field tending to humans; but from the moment I hid "pet caterpillars" in a shoebox as a child, I have also been fascinated with befriending and nurturing creatures who don't necessarily walk on two legs. I have been caring for pets since childhood, so I'm adept at reading a variety of animal minds. Typically, I have pet/house-sit for neighbors, friends and family; it's delightful to continue expanding my circle of furry companions with Rover. As a previous owner of two finicky Biewer Yorkies, I've mastered strict routines, custom diets, grooming and picked up some experience with administering medications, attending to special needs/ailments, as well as quickly identifying symptoms requiring a vet call or visit. I am a certified dog walker through Rover.
