I'm off Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and work Fri through Sunday in Black Hawk. On the days that I work, I make sure to have enough time for myself and for the pups, whether they need a walk or just play time before I leave.

When I meet with you, I follow your pace and schedule in how you care for your pet(s). If you tell me she can't be outside without a leash, I'll have her harness and leash on before the door opens :) I'm attentive and pay attention to details, so if something seems off I'll be sure to message with a photo (if needed).

The questions I always ask before you leave on a trip or essentially hand care over to me: Do they ever show aggression or fear if approached by a stranger or another animal? (Is this something I need to take special care for on our walks) Have they ever show upset at any type of "trigger"? (Thunderstorms, fireworks, the vacuum) Have they shown any anxiety or different behavior when you've left before, whether for short or long periods? Have you left for a day or two before or is this the first time? Does your kiddo ever refuse to eat or just won't eat?
A typical day
I love hiking and being outside. I do have my favorites, although mostly I like to wander new places and discover new areas and hidden gyms.

Pet care experience
I give animals the affection and respect they deserve, and I know each dog or cat is unique in both their personality and needs. I'm happy to go for runs, long walks, play in the yard, or keep a safe eye - whatever you and your dog/cat needs, I'll do my best to accommodate. I've had animals around all my life and have had quite a bit of training from my sister, who's a licensed veterinarian. I've cared for special needs pets for several years and worked for a dog walking company while running my own business. I was also a licensed massage therapist for over 8 years and volunteered at clinics to give pet massages.

Ashley is an exceptional animal caretaker! She showed a genuine care and love for my two pups and cat. Also, really good communicator with clear and concise messages when needed, and picture updates to see what adventures they're all on. Highly recommend ?
Ashley watched our dogs for a long trip and I felt at ease the whole time knowing that my dogs were in good hands! She was a wonderful communicator and took a ton of great photos! I would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone in search of a flexible and reliable pet sitter!
Ashley was amazing! She was great with both our dogs and our home! She was easy to reach and always responded right away. She took the best photos of our dogs during her stay while they were out on hikes or just hanging out in the house. Our house as left very clean which is always nice to come home to after a trip.
Ashley provided the utmost in care for our dog. She is extremely friendly and professional and went above and beyond to provide feedback regarding her care of our dog while we were away. I would highly recommend Ashley.
