My whole life is dogs. I work at the CityDogs daycare in dc where I care for, train, and look after multiple different types of dogs of different breeds, temperaments, and personalities. I have owned dogs as well as baby sat friends and family’s dogs. What sets me apart from other sitters is I have spent numerous hours working in animal shelters and other pet rescue places. Therefore, I have worked with pets of all kinds. Due to this experience, I can adapt and understand your animal’s needs very quickly.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in both my home and clients home, by first understanding the underlying personality of the pet. In doing so, I can better gauge what the pet will need from me to feel safe and happy. I walk the dogs regularly and also have multiple toys and space to play with them. With my experience at City Dogs and in shelters I understand pet hygiene, and I also can spot certain medical needs the pet is experiencing that I need to tend to. Overall, my goal is to make your pet feel as comfortable as they would at their home. They become my fur baby for the time they are with me, and I will protect them, play with them, and take care of them like they are my own.

Ashley was truly amazing! She watched Bear, our cat, for an extended stay and he got all the snuggles and cuddles. He quickly made himself at home and we are so lucky to know he was in good hands and well cared for. Ashley was incredibly accommodating as well, not only with my booking being more last minute, but a time adjustment day of as well! Thank you, Ashley, for all your care!

Ashley is fantastic! Porter was right at ease as soon as they met, and I knew he was in great hands for the weekend. Ashley was very communicative and you can instantly tell that she’s an animal lover. I will definitely book with her again!
Ashley was amazing - great energy, super responsive, and made sure my dog got plenty of walks. Felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend and definitely coming back!
