I’m currently enrolled in online College and recently left my seasonal retail position, so all I have is time! When it comes to my school work it’s really about me and my time management and I always find a way to get it done regardless what dog-sitting job I currently have. I always make it a priority to balance my time between my lovely job caring for pets and my school workload (:

I own two large Labradors and used to own two cocker spaniels before them. Our house is very dog friendly and has a huge backyard where they could play. I live across the street from eagle glen park and my dogs used to love that park when I would walk them there, tons of room for them to run around. I own tons of dog toys my dogs have and both their beds! When it comes to dog-sitting in my clients home I love to make sure it’s kept clean and looks better than it did when I arrived! Sometimes I’ve noticed dogs prefer to be in their own home since they’re already with a stranger so I love to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible! Most homes I sit for give me a schedule when/where to walk their dogs and about their feeding as well so that all varies. One of my favorite things is morning walks with my dogs!!

Important information to know about your furry friend beforehand are any medical issues, any special instructions, food schedule/rules, walking schedule/rules, sleeping schedule, bathroom routine, and just everything your doggy likes and dislikes so I can be the best caretaker possible for them (:
A typical day
On a typical day with watching dogs, we usually start with a long walk in the morning before breakfast, most dog owners have their own route where they take their dogs that I follow, but if not, we usually just make up a route, or if I’m allowed, I will take the dogs to the park at my house where my dogs love to run around, chase the ball, and even sometimes play with the other dogs that are there. Then we’ll go home and have breakfast. I usually do my school during the day and go home real quick for some food then we’ll come back and hangout for a few hours, play with the toys, go in the backyard, and then another walk before dinner again and then it’s bedtime. I’ve found most dogs are happiest being watched in their own home(:

I love taking care of pets! I’ve done it for about 3 years now for a couple of my dads friends, a couple of neighbors and just work by word of mouth from that! It’s one of my most favorite jobs ever! Before I began house-sitting/dog-sitting I started as just dog walking and checking in for dogs for those clients, but when they wanted a vacation and needed a friend at home 24/7 I started doing that as well!(: When it comes to loving pets it’s honestly like riding a bike! I have two yellow Labrador retrievers at home and love them with my whole heart!! I watch all kinds of furry friends from all breeds of dogs, cats, bunny’s, guinea pigs and almost any kind of furry friend!! I would love the opportunity to care and love for your pet!
