I grew up with at least two dogs in my home at all times, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for my parents’ three dogs, my brother’s three dogs and cat, and many of my friends’ dogs and cats. I also have two dogs of my own! I truly treat animals like family. I know that sounds cliché, but I mean it wholeheartedly. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and happy while their family is away. I think my commitment to animals is best shown through my own dogs. I intentionally adopted both of them from shelters. One was only an hour away from being put down when I brought him home, and the other was a puppy who desperately needed a home before a winter storm. I’ve also taken in multiple animals I’ve found on the side of the road to make sure they were safely returned to their homes or taken to the appropriate place for care. I’ll always do what I can to make sure an animal is safe and cared for. I’ve experienced many different stages and personalities of pet care, from 3-month-old puppies and dogs in heat to reactive or sassy dogs and senior pets of all sizes. I understand that every animal is different and has their own routines, personalities, and needs, and I’m happy to work with them. I have such a strong passion for animals, and I’d love the opportunity to care for yours when you need an extra hand! I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets, and I would feel incredibly grateful to be that person for you and your furry family members.
