Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and emotional care are my top priorities. I offer a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, but animals are never left outside alone. My home is shared with two cats and a small flock of chickens, all secured in their own spaces. My dog Pacha, is great at helping new dogs feel like part of the pack and always ready to greet a new friend. I treat each guest like an individual with their own boundaries, routines, and needs. Your pet is encouraged to make themselves at home, but I also provide a calm, separate space within the main living quarters if they need quiet time to decompress. Whether your pet is energetic or shy, social or reserved, this is a place where they’ll feel protected, understood, and loved like family.

Information Ashley B. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, it’s important for me to understand your pet’s unique personality, routines, and any behavioral or medical needs. I welcome pets with a wide range of temperaments, but I need to know in advance if your pet has any triggers, anxieties, or quirks—especially around other animals, food, or being handled. Please share anything you think I should know: • Are they crate-trained? • Do they guard toys or food? • How do they react to new environments or animals? • Any medications or mobility issues? The more I know, the more I can create a calm, predictable, and supportive environment that works for them—and ensures everyone’s safety.
A typical day
A typical day in my care is calm, structured, and tailored to your pet’s needs. We begin the morning with a potty break and a light walk or play session, depending on their energy level. Meals are given on their usual schedule, and I make sure there’s plenty of time for rest, affection, and enrichment throughout the day. Whether it’s a quiet corner for solo naps or supervised backyard play, your pet gets both attention and space to feel secure. I check in regularly for emotional cues—whether they need stimulation, connection, or a little alone time. Evenings wind down with a final walk or potty break, followed by quiet time in a comfortable sleep space that matches their routine at home. My goal is always the same: your pet should feel safe, loved, and genuinely cared for.

Reviews

Ashley helped my senior dog, who needs extra love and attention, stay comfortable and well-adjusted in her home. Her dog, Pacha, was super sweet and provided great company too. Ashley, thank you for the wonderful care you provided for Saki. Your love and care for animals are exceptional.
Ashley has watched every dog I have ever owned. She has been taking care of my dogs for over 15 years. She has borded my dogs even when they were sick. I have trusted her with my dogs while away for weeks as well as the occasional day trip.
