Hi! I’m Ashley, a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for cats. My passion for animal care started in 6th grade when I began volunteering at animal shelters, where I spent years working with cats and dogs, socializing them, and helping support their health and wellbeing. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to foster cats and dogs, which has given me hands on experience caring for animals with different backgrounds, personalities, and needs. Fostering has taught me the importance of patience, trust-building, consistency, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for every animal. I’m currently a proud cat mom to six cats, and I grew up with two dogs, so I understand that pets are truly part of the family. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for over 8 years, providing reliable, loving care and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their humans are away. I work from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to provide extra companionship, attention, and flexibility for pets who enjoy having someone nearby. I have experience caring for shy, independent, playful, and affectionate pets, and I understand the importance of patience, respecting boundaries, and building trust at each pet’s own pace. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help keep your pet’s routine consistent. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets when traveling or away from home, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and communication based on what makes you feel most comfortable. Animal welfare has always been a passion of mine, and I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own. My long-term goal is to open a cat cafe, and every cat I meet teaches me something new and helps me continue growing as a caregiver. Schedule
Having a flexible remote schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I’m able to maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide playtime and enrichment, clean litter boxes, and administer medication when needed.
