I live in a three-bedroom house on 1/3 of an acre with my toddler daughter and two dogs: Bran, a 2-year-old American White Shepherd, and Quinn, a 2-year-old Husky/Basset Hound mix. Both have calm temperaments and get along with pretty much everyone. Bran adapts his play style to suit other dogs, while Quinn is sweet and loves everyone she meets. Since I work from home, I’m with the dogs all day. They have free rein of the house and access to a fenced yard through a doggy door, creating a comfortable, spacious environment for them to enjoy.

I like to conduct a brief interview with each pet owner and create a “bio” of your dog’s needs, habits, and motivators. This helps me maintain a routine similar to their own, reducing stress and anxiety. Here are a few things I like to know in advance: - Preferred method of communication? - Any health issues, dietary restrictions, or medications? - Any food or toy aggression, or other behavior triggers? - What does your pup enjoy? What do they avoid? - What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I schedule regular play breaks with the dogs, whether it's for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply supervising them as they run laps around the yard. I live in Richland Estates, a quiet neighborhood just across the highway from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. With low-traffic streets, it's perfect for dog walks, and our yard backs up to a wooded area, giving the dogs a sense of being out in the country. Inside, our cozy living room has plenty of couches and dog beds for socializing or relaxing in the evenings. There's also plenty of space for dogs to find a quiet spot when needed.

I am writing this after the first week of daycare for my young lab and could not be more pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Lola has “endless energy” and came home exhausted every day! Ashley has provided great communication throughout and I would recommend highly.
