Whether they're full of energy and chasing each other around my back yard, or curled up by my side, their companionship is always a pleasure. With over 25 years of experience as a dog sitter, I’ve developed a strong understanding of canine behavior, especially in group settings. I'm trained in dog first aid and certified in canine massage. My goal is to provide your dog with not just care, but comfort and security.

I am writing this after the first week of daycare for my young lab and could not be more pleased with the care and attention she is receiving. Lola has “endless energy” and came home exhausted every day! Ashley has provided great communication throughout and I would recommend highly.

Schedule
I live in a three-bedroom house on 1/3 of an acre with my toddler daughter and two dogs: Bran, a 2-year-old American White Shepherd, and Quinn, a 2-year-old Husky/Basset Hound mix. Both have calm temperaments and get along with pretty much everyone. Bran adapts his play style to suit other dogs, while Quinn is sweet and loves everyone she meets. Since I work from home, I’m with the dogs all day. They have free rein of the house and access to a fenced yard through a doggy door, creating a comfortable, spacious environment for them to enjoy.

Clear communication is key to any successful stay, and for me, it starts before we even meet. I like to gather as much information as possible about you and your dog to ensure the best experience. I’m happy to accommodate special care requests—just let me know! I also enjoy capturing photos and videos of the dogs in my care, often editing them into montages to share on Instagram and YouTube for owners to enjoy. When it comes to introducing dogs, I excel at facilitating calm, one-on-one interactions that help them form a peaceful pack, whether during daycare or longer stays. With a solid understanding of canine body language and pack dynamics, I can spot and prevent potential issues before they arise.

A typical day
I schedule regular play breaks with the dogs, whether it's for a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply supervising them as they run laps around the yard. I live in Richland Estates, a quiet neighborhood just across the highway from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. With low-traffic streets, it's perfect for dog walks, and our yard backs up to a wooded area, giving the dogs a sense of being out in the country. Inside, our cozy living room has plenty of couches and dog beds for socializing or relaxing in the evenings. There's also plenty of space for dogs to find a quiet spot when needed.
