Attentive care from a loving human!
It has been said to me that my first words as a child were ... barking! While I don't remember that, I do remember always having a connection with all furry companions. I grew up with dogs and cats and on occasion would visit my great grandparents' ranch, with horses, goats and more. I loved giving the animals snacks. More recently, I moved onto a small farm. I helped take care of over a dozen chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. My formal career experience has been in education. In addition to many childcare and classroom support jobs, I also taught public school for 5 years. In either environment, my natural tendency is using my natural empathy to provide personalized care. I am not only a sitter on Rover, but have used the service myself to board my cat before. I know what it's like to leave your baby in someone else's hands! Please communicate specifically to me so that we can rest assured all needs are met for your beloved pet(s). I will treat your furry family member like I would want mine to be treated - patiently, attentively, carefully and lovingly - and only ask that you communicate any expectations or other information clearly and thoroughly. Naturally, I'll provide the same consideration I'd expect from someone taking care of my home or pet. Most owners have written instructions down and that has been helpful. I tend to note things down myself, even if they're very simple, just to assure that they are not forgotten. I'll be detail oriented, focused, careful and respectful.

Ashley took loving care of my 8 month old Doberman. She walked her and played with her and cuddled her. It was the first time she had a sitter and I’d love to have Ashley again!.
Ashley was once again awesome. House/dog sat for us again on short notice over an Holliday. Awesome communication as well as pics / videos of our dog. It’s obvious she genuinely loves our dog and our dog loves her back. This was our second time using Ashley. Will definitely be a return customer
We selected Ashley on short notice and she was awesome as both a dog and house sitter! Sent regular updates and pics of our dog. Was extremely flexible and stayed past our agreed upon end time due to an unexpected delay in our travel. Feel very comfortable with her as both a pet and house sitter. Will definitely use again.
Ashley was very flexible and took good care of my 2 large dogs. She kept me updated during her stay with pictures of my dogs and how they were doing. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I currently update my schedule on a week-by-week basis. I work part-time as an in-home Instructor for developmentally disabled adults. This is only during weekdays. My availability will vary due to the unique schedule of that job. For example, if a client has a cold, that would be a cancellation on short notice, which would allow me to be available with Rover. So far I've had sufficient flexibility to pet sit and especially housesit in the area. I will reply to your request ASAP and we can go from there. Thank you! For this reason, I prefer to fill my schedule on a day-to-day basis, or at least weekly. I'm happy to answer any questions about specifics, so there is no confusion.
