Pet care experience

Animal lover, home full time

Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover and work from home full-time, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship while you're away. I have over 11 years of experience with dogs, from growing up with them to now owning my own 8-year-old Golden Retriever. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I'm happy to follow your training methods and care instructions to help them feel comfortable and at home. Daily walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love are already part of our routine. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, an active adult, or a sweet senior, I'd be happy to care for them. I live in a house with a fully fenced backyard and pool, giving dogs a safe place to play and explore. My family loves animals, and we look forward to welcoming your furry friend into our home and treating them like one of our own. Please note that I have two young daughters, so I'm best suited for dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children. I can't wait to meet you and your pup!

dependable reliable pleasant perfect companion for my dog who is ten years & now lives in a apartment setting. Every time the phone rings she thinks it is her dog walker. Thank you Ashley for helping to improve my dog’s life. Nellie had her physical yesterday & her weight is stable. Perfect we are doing something right.

Ashley took great care of my Rhodesian Ridgeback for an extended weekend visit. She was amazing with my dog and when I received pictures even her dog had a big smile. I would recommend her to anyone except those who can potentially block my next booking. Stay awesome Ashley.

Ashley walked Otis for us while I was away on a trip. Otis instantly liked her from the first time they met! She was wonderful with him and super attentive and thoughtful in keeping us up to date via messages and sending lots of pictures. I would highly reccomend Ashley and book her again anytime!

Schedule

Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I work from home full-time. My own Golden Retriever enjoys regular walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day, so caring for another dog fits in seamlessly. I schedule my day to ensure dogs receive plenty of exercise, outdoor time, meals (following your feeding schedule), and one-on-one attention. Since someone is home most of the day, your pet will have companionship and won't be left alone for long periods. My goal is to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment

When pets stay in my home, I do everything I can to make them feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family. I follow each pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any training or house rules you have in place. Since I work from home full-time, your dog will receive plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and an 8-year-old Golden Retriever who is friendly and enjoys having canine companions. I always supervise introductions and interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. Because I have two young daughters, I only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children. If I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I treat their home with the same respect I would my own. I stick closely to the pet's usual routine to help reduce stress while you're away, making sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, fresh water, meals, and any special care they need. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged! Depending on each pet's age, personality, and energy level, we'll enjoy activities such as walks, games of fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek with treats, puzzle toys, and plenty of playtime. For more relaxed pets, I'm happy to spend time cuddling, brushing, or simply keeping them company. I always tailor activities to each pet's needs to make sure they are safe, comfortable, and having fun while their family is away.

Before every stay, I like to learn as much as I can about your pet so I can provide the best care possible. I'd love to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, personality, favorite toys or activities, any medications or medical conditions, allergies, and any fears or triggers (such as thunderstorms, fireworks, or other animals). It's also helpful to know how they interact with people and other pets, any training commands they know, and any house rules you'd like me to follow. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away.
