Hello! I'm Ashley! I'm an Ex Vet Tech, Physical Rehabilitation Dog Therapist, Petsitter and Ex Groomer who started my full service Pet business in 2008 before Rover was even around lol. I was a Vet Tech for 4 years not including my rotation and clinicals. During these 16 years in business I have been able to work with all breeds of Dogs and In the past I also branched out my business working in contract alongside Veterinarians and Private clients Grooming, providing therapy, walking and boarding Dogs and Cats who need a personal touch and could not be serviced in Kennels and Clinics for their grooming and boarding needs. I also give medications and injections. I have served clients in the DC, Maryland, Baltimore and VA areas. I currently work with all ages and breeds of all backgrounds. I specialize in dogs that have separation Anxiety as well. Outside of Rover I operated my own business with consistent clientele since my business has been around for 16 years but I love being on Rover because I get to meet new people and their fur babies. Every day I get to do what I love. I give pets quality, one on one care and attention so that they don't miss their parents as much when they are away and are as comfortable as possible. Pets aren't just my job and business they are my passion! What I Offer: I must meet with you and your fur babie(s) prior to booking a stay. If you are trying to book me for a same day or last minute stay a meet and Greet is still required before I can board your dog. Meet and Greets are held outside, there are no tours of my home, due to the spaces where the dogs stay being personal rooms. During the meet and greet I speak with you one on one about your Dog/Cats dietary habits/restrictions, Allergies and what their needs are if any. If they need medication or injections during their stay please let me know. I do not Pick up and drop off dogs due to other dogs that I sit for in my home. I have a 3 level home that includes a big basement with 2 bedrooms and a main living room space. So there is plenty of room to house all pets and still keep them apart. I do not board Dogs together if they are not from the same home. Each dog has their own separate space (Room) and are rotated throughout the day for active play time around the house while the other dogs are put away. I have 1 cat and 1 dog who are very much used to seeing all of my extended dog family but they stay far enough away and do not interact. My home is very busy as I have 4 teenagers and 1 pre-teen ages 10-19) so no fur baby is ever bored and my oldest son also assist with the main care of the animals. I am energetic, loving and playful, but also very organized and thorough. We have a walking system, drop off and pick up system and a boarding system. I do not believe in charging extra for playtimes and medicine dispensing. I am advanced in animal therapies and I have a keen eye for sensing posible health problems. I pay attention to dog behaviors and consistency in potty breaks. I also do not overboard dogs in my home at one time because I love the dogs being able to roam freely while they each have their own spaces and not have to run into another dog. If you are looking to board for more than 7 days please message me with details so that I can schedule a call through the Rover line with you. Safety, love and care is my first priority. Dogs are not allowed off leash while outside or on walk's. Dogs are watched at all times when on both patio's or in the backyard. I also do not allow dogs to mix or mingle with other dogs unless they are from the same family to reduce risks of diseases or infections. Pictures of dogs are taken when they come in, during their stay and before they leave.
