I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands on experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I grew up with a Shih Tzu for 16 years, have owned two Pit Bulls, fostered a Dalmatian, rescued a stray dog, and have experience dog sitting for friends and family. I’m comfortable with walking, basic training, reading canine body language, and caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I genuinely view pets as family and care for them with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I would want for my own. I also understand that every dog is unique, so I make an effort to learn each dog’s personality, routine, boundaries, and needs while respecting any rules or instructions their owner has in place. My priority is making sure both the dog and their owner feel safe and comfortable with me.

I’ve trusted Ashley with my dog, Jake , a 6 year-old Shih Tzu, and she has always been amazing with him. He can be a little particular about who he feels comfortable around, but he warmed up to Ashley very quickly. Ashley has helped with walks and watched him for me when I’ve been busy or away. She’s patient and someone I trust with my dog without hesitation. I would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for care.
Ashley has helped me take care of my dog, Luna, multiple times, especially when I had to work and couldn’t be home. She would walk Luna for me and also board her when I had long workdays or needed someone dependable to watch her. Luna absolutely loves Ashley and is always comfortable and excited to see her. Ashley is patient, attentive, and genuinely caring with animals. She always made sure Luna was walked, fed on schedule, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention and playtime. It was such a relief being able to work without worrying about whether my dog was okay. I’ve always felt completely comfortable leaving Luna in her care and would definitely recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog walker or sitter.

Schedule
I’m currently a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week. After taking my son to school, I’m home and have plenty of availability for dog walking, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I’m especially flexible Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays when my son is with his grandparents. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I love being able to pick up walks and sitting throughout my week. With a little notice, I can usually accommodate different schedules, times, and routines.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is always my top priority, and I make sure each dog is cared for according to their individual needs, routine, and their owner’s instructions. My dog friendly building also has a closed off indoor/outdoor area where I can safely play with them, throw a ball, and give them additional exercise. There is also a nearby fenced dog park for dogs whose owners are comfortable with that environment. I’m attentive about leashes, doors, surroundings, interactions with other animals, feeding instructions, and any specific boundaries you have for your pet. I want owners to feel completely comfortable knowing their dog is being supervised, loved, and cared for responsibly. When caring for your pet in your home or taking them for walks, I understand that you’re trusting me with both your pet and your personal space, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will always follow your instructions, respect your home, and keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. On walks, I stay attentive to their body language, surroundings, other dogs, traffic, and anything that could affect their safety. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, and check ins so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention while in my care.
