Hey there! I am back on Rover if you’re a previous client of mine, and I’m happy to be here! ☺️ I say the last 4 years comprise my experience in pet care but I had dogs and cats as pets from the age of 4 through the age of 11 and have never stopped loving them. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, giving medication, treating upset tummies and soothing anxious pups and cats. I have taken care of puppies as young as 4 months old and as old as seniors in their tens. I have done days long house sitting as well as brief visitations to feed and play with pets, and am open to discussion on a variety of needs. A cat with no teeth (true story) doesn’t faze me, so feel free to inquire and if we match up, know you can count on me!

Safety, trust & environment
I take the boundaries that you have set for your pet seriously, and will always adhere to those first and foremost. If you prefer your pet to stay within the confines of your home or crated when not actively playing, etc., I will keep them there. If the backyard is alright, perfect. If a walk of a certain length of time around the neighborhood is your go-to, it’ll be mine. I know some don’t like leaving the bathroom open, or the kitchen trash out because their pet will get into it. Whatever your preferences are, know that above all, I am very detail oriented and attentive to the pets I care for. I like to make sure the routines that make them feel safe and at home are followed, and I love showing affection whenever possible because even with you gone, they should feel that you’ve left them a companion.

Ashley was great. She interacted with our shy kitty with confidence and ease. We loved her daily updates that were funny and usually included a little video. She met with us twice before the job, once for a meet and greet and once just before we left to get the housekey and to get more familiar with our cat and the daily routine. She was able to give our cat her medication which is a little tricky. We were lucky to find Ashley. She was the perfect cat sitter for us.
I honestly want to gatekeep Ashley she’s that good. But I wouldn’t do that to her!! Seriously, you should absolutely book her. My dog is pissed when I come home from a trip because I’m pretty sure he likes her more than me these days. Ashley is the best!
Ashley is responsible and takes great care of our cats when we are out of town. She has a great memory and remembers the particulars of our animals every time.
This is our 3rd or 4th time booking Ashley and I’m not sure if I can work with anyone else at this point. She delt with my cat getting a little sick while we were gone. Nothing major that a hairball treat couldn’t fix, but she gave constant updates and was so wonderful with the info she’d give on how my kitty was doing. I never stress when Ashley is watching my babies!
This is our second time working with Ashley and we will not hesitate to work with her again! She’s wonderful with my dog and cat, as well as our home. We know we can travel stress free when she’s house/pet sitting for us!
Ashley was very responsive and sent great photos of our dogs. Our dogs seemed very happy and everything was as expected. I will definitely try to book Ashley again in the future.

Schedule
I have pretty open availability weekdays and weekends, so barring a one off appointment I might have, I can customize pet care upon discussion! Please know that I require a Meet & Greet with your pet before booking. I can usually make shorter notice stays happen if I have a Meet & Greet.

- Please let me know if your dog: has anxiety, if they don’t do well with new or other animals, if they don’t do well with people, if they have leash anxiety, if they are a runner/escape artist, if they behave differently when you are away (ex. eating or sleeping pattern changes that you know of). Please also let me know if there are any areas of their body that are pain points, such as when you go to put a leash on them or pet them, as well as whether they need any medication, have any allergies, have any known fears or behavioral quirks.
