I have nearly a decade of experience fostering dogs and through the years have honed my skills training dogs and caring for dogs with a wide variety of needs. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs that require special medical care and enjoy providing a safe space for all dogs. Beyond the experience that comes from creating a safe space for hundreds of dogs over the years I have the flexibility and humility to ensure that your dog is treated and cared for in a manner that meets YOUR needs because I believe that consistency is key and you know your dog best. ***For an extra $10/day I offer training services to help work towards your dogs goals. I use only positive reinforcement methods and have extensive experience with training dogs of all ages. If this is something you would like to discuss please mention it prior to finalizing booking.***

I am home full time and enjoy focusing on your babies! I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work with you to make sure you and your dogs have the best experience possible.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced in yard for your dog to play in and am meticulous about ensuring that anything within reach of animals is safe for them. I never allow animals to be in the yard without supervision because I strongly believe in mitigating risk where possible and ensuring that I have the ability to respond appropriately should an accident happen. I am experienced in introducing dogs safely and my own dogs, Westley and Chai, are wonderful with play mates. They are submissive to most dogs and are able to set appropriate boundaries without fear of over-correction. I am also able to ensure a pleasant experience should you have a dog that is dog-reactive as I have a two level home and experience keeping dogs safe and comfortable in their own spaces.

A typical day
I like to make sure that dogs get plenty of opportunities to have outside time to run around in the yard. I have numerous puzzle toys as well as more involved treats such as Kongs to ensure they have mental stimulation. I offer lots of play time with me as well to ensure they have different activities throughout the day. I am also a firm believer that dogs need time to decompress so I also allow for time during the days for dogs to relax on their own as necessary to ensure that they do not get overwhelmed by constant activity.
