I’m currently a German Shepherd mom and have a strong understanding of large-breed dogs, working breeds, and dogs with more complex behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with reactive dogs and dogs trained with e-collars. I prioritize consistency, patience, and helping pets feel safe and understood in their environment. I also have experience caring for senior and medically complex pets, including cats with kidney failure, neurological issues, administering subcutaneous fluids, medications, and injections. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m comfortable caring for exotic pets, especially reptiles. Whether your pet needs an active, confident handler or gentle specialized care, I aim to provide dependable, personalized care tailored to their individual needs. 🏡 My house sitting usually includes 3-4 drop in visits each day ranging 1-3 hours each and overnight stay in your home if requested and agreed upon. Otherwise, I will be at your home for potty breaks/feeding/walks first thing in the morning at an agreed upon time and will end the day tucking them into bed before I leave for the night.

I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I’m happy to follow any established care instructions, training protocols, medication schedules, feeding routines, or household guidelines to keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible for your pets. Depending on your pet’s needs and energy level, I can do neighborhood walks, enrichment activities, playtime, or outings for more active dogs. I aim to make pets feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their animals are in capable and attentive hands.

We had an amazing experience with our sitter! She took such great care of Elphie and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was reliable, caring, and kept us updated with photos and messages and left us with the cutest photo stickers of our pet. Elphie was happy, comfortable, and clearly well loved. Ashleigh was amazing and so helpful! She responded super quickly and was great at keeping me updated on everything, letting me know what Max needed and what I needed to do. Plus, she was on time! And she even remembered to bring along a leash that I'd forgotten to grab myself. Max looked happy and was definitely well taken care of during his walk. I would definitely recommend Ashleigh!
Ashleigh has cared for my senior beagle, Dexter, who is mostly blind, deaf, and living with doggie dementia. She treats him with extraordinary love and attentiveness and always meeting him exactly where he is. Dexter absolutely adores her, which says everything. Ashleigh is calm, intuitive, and completely unphased by challenges, and I have never seen her deterred by a difficult animal or special needs situation. Programa
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I have a flexible work schedule and the ability to work remotely. I can accommodate walks and drop-in visits first thing in the morning, around lunch, in the early afternoon, or in the evening depending on your pet’s needs and routine. I enjoy building consistency and routine for pets so they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.
