I work from home, allowing consistent supervision throughout the day. I can step away frequently for potty breaks, play, rest time, and check-ins. Pet care is integrated into my daily rhythm, my life revolves around them really. If I have a planned stay I ensure my time is prioritized for them and avoid leaving unless necessary. I tend to work with repeat families so the dogs build familiarity and comfort with one another. Because of that, new client openings may be limited.

Safety, trust & environment

We live on fully fenced private acreage, giving dogs secure space to sniff, explore, and move freely under supervision. The space naturally provides mental enrichment through sniffing, exploring, and varied terrain or playing with toys if they share well! Inside, dogs have a calm, dog-centered home environment with space to relax and decompress. Furniture access is welcome for dogs accustomed to it. I follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible to keep their stay familiar and low-stress. Meals are served at the same times they’re used to at home, always given separately, and fresh water is available in multiple areas of the home and outside. I ensure a calm environment with no competition or resource guarding. Household rules are respected - whether that means no furniture or no human food. If your dog eats raw, please provide pre-portioned meals with instructions. I’m happy to reinforce any training cues, boundaries, or obedience work you’re continuing. Crate sleepers will maintain their routine, and dogs who are used to sleeping beside you will have a cozy indoor setup that feels similar. My partner shares the home and is equally attentive. He’s a nurse, so awareness of subtle changes and overall wellbeing is simply part of who he is and that carries over to the dogs in our care. I have two well-socialized resident dogs who enjoy playing when invited but also respect space and disengage if another dog prefers calm time or independence. Play is always supervised. Dogs are never forced to interact. Rest and decompression are just as important as play. *Living on acreage means natural terrain, native wildlife, and seasonal heat. Dogs are supervised closely outdoors and precautions are taken - however, this is a natural environment rather than a paved commercial facility. I take extra preventative care and supervise closely, but transparency is important. Please be aware of uncontrollable factors🤍

Information Ashleigh W. would like to know about your pet

To preserve the peaceful environment: • Dogs must be friendly and socially appropriate • Must be house-trained • Not prone to fence jumping (5 ft fence) • No aggressive behaviors • Meet & greet required before first booking I like to learn as much as possible about each dog before their stay. Completing your Rover profile thoroughly is very helpful, as I reference it during care. Daycare hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Boarding drop-off and pickup are available between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM. *If you anticipate needing extended boarding or daycare hours, please reach out in advance and I'm happy to discuss availability! Daycare pickups after 6:00 PM require advance coordination and include an extended care fee: $10 for 6–7 PM, $15 for 7–8 PM, and $20 for 8–9 PM. If extended care has not been arranged beforehand, the stay will transition to the boarding rate Because bookings are intentionally limited, proper fit is important. For first-time clients, Meet & greets are required prior to first stays to ensure the right fit for everyone. • You can see the home • Your dog can explore the environment • We can ensure compatibility • You can ask any questions There is no pressure - it’s simply to make sure everyone feels comfortable. Our dogs are family- no ask is too much. If you’re ever unsure whether we’re a good match, I’m always happy to chat first 🤍

A typical day

Dogs are free to move between indoor comfort and open outdoor space throughout the day, choosing where they feel most at ease. Some spend long stretches exploring the yard; others prefer shorter outdoor time followed by shaded rest indoors. The rhythm of the day adjusts naturally to each dog’s temperament and energy. Depending on weather and preference, most dogs spend 50–90% of the day outside..sniffing, stretching out in the sun, wandering the yard and occasionally, of course, getting the zoomies out. Activity levels are tailored so high-energy dogs can move, while calmer dogs can decompress. Before each stay, we discuss your dog’s normal routine so their days here feel familiar- whether that includes structured play, walks, midday naps, crate time, or regular snacks. You’ll receive daily updates with photos so you can see exactly how your dog is settling in.

Pet care experience

Private, in-home dog boarding in Spicewood on fully fenced acreage with intentionally limited capacity and personalized care. This is not a kennel or high-volume daycare. I accept only 2 dogs at a time so each dog receives real supervision, calm structure, and individual attention. You’ll always know exactly how many dogs are present during your dog’s stay. This environment is best for: • Dogs who prefer small groups • Dogs who enjoy social time but not constant interaction • Dogs who struggle in kennel or high-volume daycare settings • Owners looking for true in-home, personalized boarding Dogs have always been family to me. I’ve had my own for 8+ years, have long been the trusted sitter for friends and family, and volunteer at shelters as well. I have experience with high-energy and strong-willed breeds (including huskies and wolfdogs) and I built this space around one question: Will this feel good for the dog? When I once had to leave my own dogs with a stranger, I couldn’t find the soft, attentive environment I wanted. So I created it. What Your Dog’s Stay Looks Like? Dogs here: • Roam freely throughout the home • Are able to retreat inside or outdoor as they prefer throughout the day • Receive supervised outdoor time in a secure fenced yard • Sleep wherever they’re most comfortable (furniture allowed unless you prefer otherwise) • Are never kenneled unless requested • Are not left unattended • Are never forced into play groups or kept around barking /anxious dogs overnight You’re welcome to bring: • Their bed • Favorite blanket • Toys • Treats • Anything that smells like home Familiar items help them settle in faster **There are no kennels here so if that is needed please bring one!

Ashleigh is a responsible and dedicated pet caregiver known for her reliability, compassion, and genuine love for animals. She prioritizes each pet’s well-being and provides dependable, attentive care. She watched both of my dogs—one a senior and the other a puppy—and cared for each according to their individual needs. They were both very well cared for and happy during their stay. Ashleigh also sent regular updates throughout, which gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter.
