I have a special place in my heart for the sweet but misunderstood as well as those who need a little extra love & care. ♥️ I am a very compassionate animal-lover who believes dogs are more than just pets - they are family! They need both mental and physical stimulation to be healthy and happy. With a current career in fitness & self-development, as well as a passion for dogs, I can provide the best activities and care for your fur baby! I have worked with dogs as small as shih-tzus to as large as 130 pounds, as well as up to 5 dogs at once! My 17 year experience with pet sitting as well as mentoring under a Professional Dog Trainer has brought me knowledge that allows me to take the upmost care & consideration for your pet(s). I also have experience working with and watching reactive dogs so that won’t be a problem if your pet needs extra care & attention. (: I take into full consideration of your current obedience & training with your pets to ensure your rules & boundaries are reinforced. I would love to bring mental and physical exercise to your pup(s)! I hope to meet your lovely dog(s) soon! I also love love LOVE bully breeds! They are so judged & misunderstood but not only do I know they are such love bugs, I also understand that they some specific bully breeds do require special attention as high-energy power breeds. I own an anxious American pit bull terrier mix who I have had for over 10 years! To keep her anxiety & energy maintained for her optimal living, I work on her obedience, mental enrichment, agility, socialization, & more. CANINE ENRICHMENT FOR YOUR DOGS: I also own a flirt pole that I can work your dog with if desired which will drain their energy 10x more than a walk only. As always, I will only use the toy with your permission only and depending on your dogs needs & limitations. (: I also have years of experience with caring for cats including the kitties who need extra care like insulin injections daily.

Ashleigh was phenomenal with Jagger. He is a six month old puppy with separation anxiety. Ashleigh was prepared with little treats to help him adjust and handled him like a professional. He did so well under her care! She is a natural!

Schedule
I am currently available for house sits, dog boarding, or dog walking nearby! I currently work full time (either early morning shifts or evening shifts M-F) however I get breaks I can stop by and let your dogs out for a potty break. I also fill before and after work hours with tons of walks and enrichment to keep your dogs happy and fulfilled!

I have experience working with and training dogs who come from all types of backgrounds, including reactive pets. Their safety & happiness is my #1 priority. I will always avoid other dogs / animals as well as stranger human to pet interaction while your pet is in my care.

A typical day
I will be doing a mix of a focused walk along side of lots of sniff breaks & loose leash walking to ensure your pet is fully enriched & mentally stimulated as well as physically exercises. I love doing simple enrichment activities to challenge your dogs senses like sniff work! I am also a big fan of playing as I feel like that strengthen the connection with your pet on top of bringing extra joy & fun into their lives. I always take the weather and the temperature of the ground into consideration as well to make sure your pup is safe & comfortable!
