Pet Lover Looking To Care For Critters

I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. I have owned more than eight dogs and ten cats over that last fifteen years. I currently own four dogs and a cat; the cat was a rescued kitten, that was malnourished, injured and nursed back to health by us, and one of my dogs had diabetes so I have experience giving insulin shots. I very much enjoy caring for and playing with pets.

Ashleigh was great! Kept us updated and sent photos. One of our doggies got an upset tum and she handled it great and stayed with her a little longer than needed just to make sure she was okay until we got home.

This is our sixth or seventh time using Ashleigh. Our cat is old and grumpy and she always manages to lure him out and give him loves. She is communicative and kind. Highly recommended

I highly recommend Ashleigh! My dog Annie is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety and trust issues. Ashleigh was patient and kind and has a lot of experience. She sent daily notes and pictures. They did great! I trust her in my home 100%. I am using her again soon!

Why I love dog sitting I've had pets for as long as I can remember. The first dog I remember having was Barney. I don't know what breed she was, but she was a big and black shaggy dog. She was so sweet and terrified of cameras. Then I think came Diamond, a dalmatian, and then Smokey, a chow or some sort of chow mix I believe. We also briefly adopted Runt when his owners threatened to take him to the pound(he was very hard to contain). He stayed with us for a while before he finally slipped out one day and we never saw him again, sadly. My family and I were taking a walk around our old neighbor hood when we ran into a rottweiler mix. My dad decided to pet her and she ended up following us home and refused to leave. We still have her. Most recently we have a chihuahua and a terrier that we rescued. The chihuahua was pregnant when we found them so we took care of the puppies until they were weaned and then we found a place that would help adopt them out. They were spayed and neutered and we fostered them until they were all adopted out. They were all very cute, but I was extremely fond of one particular fluffball, Puff Puff, and I ended up keep her.

It's good to know how the dog reacts to other people and animals, what toys they prefer, how much you feed them, how long you'd like their walks to be, whether they need to be bathed and/or groomed and any medications they may need to take. Big dog, little dog, doesn't matter to me! The only breed I am uncomfortable caring for are pit bulls or any kind of pit bull mix.
