I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish. I will be moving to Enumclaw, WA full time in the late summer/early fall. Until then, I am spending a few weeks staying in the area. In the upcoming year, I will be job searching for additional part-time work to start saving money while researching graduate school programs in the meantime. So, that being said, I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am willing to find what works best with your own!

A typical day
I love walking and being outdoors any opportunity I get, so if you and your pet(s) are comfortable with it, I will be providing enrichment through walks and playing outside in available, safely enclosed spaces. But, I am not shy to accommodating the pets that prefer the indoors, too, by doing more relaxed activities! I love to teach and practice fun tricks such as one I used to do with my senior dog: “downward dog”, or “stretch”. I’d also be happy to bathe them with provided materials that you’re comfortable with/prefer using!

Pet care experience
I have always grown up having pets of various kinds including dogs, fish, small frogs, and hermit crabs. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs because I believe they often get overlooked when they deserve a high quality of life, too. (Last year, my family lost our rescue dog of twelve years.) I have also had the experience of working with farm animals throughout the course of my life through participation in a junior farmer’s program, when I was younger, and then acting as a returning volunteer and frequent visitor ever since. I am particularly familiar with raising and caring for chickens. Any chance I get, you bet you can find me learning about, observing, or spending time with animals!

The first quality to note about Ashleigh is she LOVES animals. She has cared for a variety of animals, frogs, chickens, dogs, and cats, young and old. Ashleigh is responsible, hard working, and is committed to giving each animal the best care possible. She always goes above and beyond to make sure the pets she is caring for are safe and content. When time permits, she always gives her pet clients a little extra love and attention. Ashleigh is an animal caregiver that I would highly recommend. Her goal is making sure every animal under her care is as happy as possible when their pet parent is away.
If you want someone who would go absolutely out of their way to ensure your pet is happy and has their needs met then look no further. I have never met someone who cares so deeply for animals as Ashleigh. Whether it's the less cuddly crabs, turtles, and birds to the furry farm animals, dogs, and cats, I am confident that nobody will treat them better.
