Availability
After being laid off early May, I'm happy to say dog sitting is my full time gig now! We are typically very flexible with pick up and drop off times but do ask that you communicate when you'll be coming our way for the safety of the pets in our home and making sure everyone is introduced properly without any surprise. I have a few dogs that I walk weekly and have drop ins when they come up but other than that I'm home. While I am away for some of the day here and there, the dogs stay at home and I have a camera to check on them if needed. I also have family quite literally across the street if they need to run over for any reason. Due to me having daily dogs to walk and check in on here and there, we would not be the best fit for a dog who needs 24/7 care or has severe separation anxiety. I'm now also taking daily daycare dogs so if they need to get their energy out while you're at work or just to play with new friends, we'd love to have them!

We have a fenced in yard for free time outside and potty breaks. I have space for you to bring your own crate if your dog needs it or feels safe having it around. I am very trustworthy and honest, especially when it comes to going in others' homes as I would expect the same for someone coming into mine. We all love lounging around almost as equally as play time so everyone will fit in!

We like to be aware of things that might make them protective or defensive. Any food aggression, toy aggression, etc. Any allergies or tummy sensitivities as well. If anything makes them anxious/destructive like thunder, fireworks, loud noises, etc. We also typically ask if they're okay left alone for short periods of time or if they require a crate.
A typical day
We love to play fetch and run around outside in our fenced in yard, go for walks if that's what your dog is used to, and relax inside!

I've been pet sitting for over 15+ years now. When I was younger I often took care of my elderly neighbor's dogs and that has since turned into a love for pets and caring for them while their parents are away. I've watched and cared for multiple types of dogs, of all sizes and breeds, from puppies to older pups, as well as cats, hamsters, and even a bunny. I'm comfortable giving basic training to puppies or giving any oral medication needed. I've been on Rover for a 5+ years now and have hosted MANY dogs in our home along with numerous drop ins and walks. I'd love to be considered to take care of your babies while you're away! I have a large fenced in yard that is perfect for zoomies, fetch, and all the playing their hearts desire. I have a 2 golden retrievers and a chihuahua mix, all 4-5 years old. They are extremely loving and playful and are very socialized as they've been a part of us dog sitting for most of their lives! We have 2 cats who sleep most of the day but LOVE the dogs. No worries if your dog is unsure about cats or does not like them, ours know when other dogs are in the house and they hide out in the back. My wife Keri is also on Rover, so if you see someone with the same animal descriptions that's why! If I'm ever not home she usually is. We usually tag team drop ins and walks as well. We're very open and flexible to just about anything. We often times take last minute requests but usually prefer a meet and greet first. Reach out if there are any questions!

Ashleigh takes care of my two very active German shepherds when I’m out and about. She makes sure that they have tons of time to play their loved and well treated well and are extremely happy and safe. They always come home well rested, clean and tired, from all the fun that they have. It’s a real vacation for them and peace of mind for me. I highly recommend Ashleigh to take care of your pets when you have to be away.

Hands down, these two are exceptional. We thoroughly enjoy them care for our puppy. They're great with him, and we will definitely utilize their services in the future.
