Hi, I’m Ashleigh! Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around a variety of breeds, each with their own personalities, needs, and quirks, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of dog care. I currently own a Border Collie, so I’m very familiar with providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep active, intelligent dogs happy and fulfilled. My passion for dogs has also led me to volunteer with Dogs Trust, where I gained valuable experience caring for and interacting with dogs from a range of backgrounds. This helped strengthen my understanding of canine behaviour and the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions. For added peace of mind, I am trained in canine first aid and have experience administering oral medication to dogs when required. Whether your dog needs a simple daily tablet, extra support due to age or health conditions, or just plenty of love and attention while you’re away, I’m confident in providing safe, compassionate care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring and capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member!

I currently work remotely for Amazon so you're pets are never going to be lonely! I am free for boarding every weekend and also most weekdays!

Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, which is why I strive to provide a safe, secure, and loving home environment where every dog is treated like part of the family. I live in a secure coded-entry building, providing an additional layer of safety and peace of mind. We also have access to a fully enclosed communal garden that is professionally maintained on a weekly basis. The garden is accessed through a coded gate, helping to ensure dogs remain safe and secure while enjoying supervised outdoor time, with no risk of wandering off. My home is very dog-friendly and designed with your pet’s wellbeing in mind. There are plenty of toys and enrichment activities available to keep dogs mentally stimulated and entertained throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys interactive play, exploring new toys, or simply relaxing in a comfortable environment, I’ll tailor their experience to suit their individual personality and needs. I am committed to maintaining a calm, clean, and positive environment where dogs can feel safe, settled, and at home while you’re away. Combined with my canine first aid training and experience administering oral medication, you can feel confident that your dog will be cared for with both compassion and attention to detail. I also have my own little doggo named cooper who is a 2 year old border collie, he is extremely friendly so your dog will never feel lonely.

A typical day
A typical day with me is centred around making sure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and part of the family. I always aim to stick as closely as possible to their usual routine, as I know consistency helps dogs feel settled and secure. The day will include plenty of exercise, enrichment, playtime, and affection, tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and individual needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring new scents, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. As a Border Collie owner myself, I’m used to providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation, so there will be plenty of opportunities for games, training reinforcement, and enrichment activities where appropriate. Throughout the day, your dog will have access to fresh water, regular toilet breaks, and a safe, loving environment where they can relax and feel at home. If your dog requires oral medication, I am experienced in administering this and will ensure their routine is followed carefully. You’ll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your dog is safe, happy, and having a great time while you’re away.
