I want to clarify that while my profile mentions grooming, I’m not a professional groomer. However, I can give your dog a rinsy-rinse on my back deck if needed. I would never send home a dog in different conditions than which it arrived- except out of gas. That is my goal. To have them burn that energy! 😆

Information Ashlee R. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dogs are crate-trained and/or potty-trained. I like to be aware of any special accommodations I might need to make for them while they’re with me. I’m very flexible and want everyone to feel comfortable in my home while minimizing potty accidents inside. If your dog may be a marker or have accidents, that’s ok. I just ask for honesty and we can put belly wraps on them! Especially with all the dogs in and out of my house this behavior can come out more. I spend a lot of time vacuuming, mopping, doing laundry and cleaning the house to make sure it’s clean, sanitary and doesn’t wreak of dogs. Anything you can do to be honest so we can work together and eliminate damage to furniture or rugs/carpet is appreciated. If I have a work meeting, I may need to crate a dog or place them in a separate room to ensure some quiet time. This doesn’t last long, but sometimes necessary! (Haha)
A typical day
Your dogs are welcome to hang out with me in my office, the living room, my bedroom (they usually end up on my bed), or on the back deck and in the yard. Wherever I am, they tend to follow! In the mornings, I feed and exercise everyone, followed by some nap time (let’s be honest, probably not in January or when it’s wet and muddy). We usually burn energy with fetch 2x a day. This does not include Benelli playing with his new bestie. On weekends, I fill up the little pools so they can splash around and cool off on hot days. I spend a lot of time in the yard with the dogs, ensuring they have plenty of fun!

Pet care experience
*Starting in July I will be changing my location to CA. My mom, Shirlee is still in Nashville boarding dogs full time.* I have re-located to Sacramento, CA this summer and while in California I am accepting bookings in California and still active in Nashville.' Your pups will receive the same kind of care as in Nashville. Here they will have someone home with them all day and Benelli to play with. Benelli and I would love to meet you! The rest of my profile is what I had while in Nashville... The house here in Sacramento also has a pool for the dogs to cool down in and get exercise in. Only supervised of course! I will add photos of Sacramento house soon!
Reviews

Very knowledgable and attentive.

Ashlee was amazing with my 2 labs! I received pictures and videos daily. The next time I travel, I will definitely be using Ashlee. I felt the dogs were safe and well cared for.

Ashlee is the best! Felt so at ease leaving my dogs with her. She sent plenty of pics and videos to update and I can tell my girls enjoyed their time in her home. They were able to play in the backyard and cuddle up on all the soft beds and couches, too. So much better than leaving them with the vet or a dog boarding place. Will definitely be booking again in the future :)

Ashlee and her mother Shirlee took great care of my two goofballs on their weeklong vacation! We had a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone could get along. Ashlee was flexible with my need for an early morning drop off. Remy and Stella had a fantastic time, evidenced by the regular photos and videos of them throughout their stay. Remy (my older boy) tends to be afraid of stairs and Ashlee and Shirlee were very understanding of his nervousness and worked with him until he got over his hesitation. They had such a great experience and were nice and tired for the rest of the day after picking them up. I would definitely recommend Ashlee and Shirlee to anyone in need of loving dog sitters.
