What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs and the level of care I provide. I grew up helping my grandparents raise and care for puppies, so I’ve been around dogs of all ages—from newborn puppies to senior dogs—for as long as I can remember. I was also fortunate to have my own dog for 13 wonderful years, and caring for him taught me so much. He required a strict medication schedule, a specialized diet, and daily attention, so I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and giving extra support to senior dogs or pets with special needs. As a registered nurse, providing compassionate, attentive care comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve taken my dogs to training classes and grooming appointments, and I’ve even groomed them myself. I also spent many years pet sitting for neighbors and walking dogs around my neighborhood. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I treat every pet with the same patience, love, and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine!!! I’m a registered nurse and work three 12-hour shifts each week, which means I have several days off with plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets. On my days off, I enjoy being active, going on walks, and spending time outdoors, so having a dog to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. I have my schedule far in advance, in order to plan accordingly! Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and spending time with pets is a great way for me to relax outside of nursing. I’ll always make sure every pet gets the love, attention, and care they deserve.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I know every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to learn about their schedule, feeding routine, favorite activities, medications, and any special instructions before each stay. As a registered nurse, I’m detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable following specific care plans. Whether that’s administering medications, sticking to strict feeding times, or recognizing changes in behavior, I take every responsibility seriously. I love staying active, so I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I live in a town home in a very pet friendly neighborhood, with lots of greenery and places to walk/ run and hang in the yard. For pets who prefer a quieter environment, I’m just as happy to spend time cuddling, relaxing, and giving them companionship. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, kindness, and lots of love.
