I grew up with multiple dogs in the house, and do a good amount of training with my personal dog. I do sports with him in my free time like agility, I've also done nose work, rally and conformation with him. I have experience working in a vet clinic, and worked at Leashes and Leads for two years as a pet care attendant and a supervisor in the resort. From those two work places I have a lot of experience with older dogs, or dogs who have special restrictions. I have also volunteered at Paws and Claws for years to help walk the dogs. I'm an online college student at Bemidji State University, so most days I'm free to help with other animals. I also have 5 rabbits that have their own rooms and are safe away from dogs that have prey drive. I do pet sit for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small exotics, if you have any questions about my experience in exotics please reach out! Safety precautions: My dog is up to date on all vaccines, and receives monthly flea and tick meds. I will deep clean any food or water bowls used by previous clients of mine before your dog/cat stays over as well as machine wash toys. This helps prevent spread of any bacteria from animal to animal. Extras- Please let me know if you wish to add on anything to your day care. I have lick mats and several different things to put on them to freeze to keep your dog happy. I can also clip cat and exotic pet nails for an extra small fee.

Ashlee always does a great job with my 3 cats! My one cat sometimes misbehaves when we’re gone (this time he spilled rice AND broke a vase)—Ashlee let me know they were all safe and cleaned up the mess. I have such peace of mind leaving my pets with her!
Ashlee was so great!! I absolutely will be rebooking her. I knew Haddie was in good hands, well loved, looked after and cared for. Highly recommend such a great lover of dogs and animals!
I would highly recommend Ashlee. She took great care of my cats but also went above and beyond and watered all of my potted plants on the deck all week. Great with animals and a green thumb!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a tall fenced in yard and a dog who’s good with other well mannered dogs. I won't leave our dogs unattended together. When boarding/daycare dogs come over I like to do a slow introduction between dogs, keeping them separate until they are calm.

A typical day
I’m able to accommodate to your pets needs, so if you have a high energy dog that needs lots of exercise throughout the day, we can make sure that happens. If you just want your pet to get attention and be with someone to have the company, we can do that too!
