Pet care experience
Animal Enthusiast 🐾🤍
Hi, my name is Ashlee! I recently turned 33, and if there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that my love for animals is the most defining part of who I am. Friends and family often joke that it’s “the most annoying thing” about me—because I genuinely want to help every animal I meet. I’m proud to say I’m both a devoted “crazy cat lady” and a dog mom to my crazy pups. I also share my home with many rotating strays I have rescued over the years to find them furever homes, so it’s safe to say my world revolves around animals. Professionally, I’ve been working in a veterinary hospital for the past four years, gaining experience in several departments. Most recently, I’ve been training as a veterinary technician. I’ve also cut back hours to attend school and pursue my certification in veterinary technology, with the goal of eventually becoming a livestock veterinarian specializing in cows and horses. Altogether, I bring more than 15 years of experience working with animals, the last 10 of which have been entirely career-focused. I’ve cared for both small and large breeds, administered medications, and supported animals with a wide range of needs. I’ve also learned the importance of structure, consistency, and safety—all of which I prioritize when looking after pets. As a fellow pet owner, I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your beloved companions. My number-one goal with every client is to build trust by providing safe, loving, and reliable care. I would never put your pet in harm’s way, and I will always treat them as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting new pets and people, and I can’t wait to welcome your furry family member into my care. 🐾

Ratings and reviews
Fist time using Rover and Ashlee was awesome. Helped with the app and was very attentive to our cats. Would recommend and will rebook.

I had scheduled drop in-visits to make sure my two cats had what they needed while on a trip. She sent pictures/videos and took really good care of them while she was here.

Highly recommended. We will definitely book her again.

Ashlee is awesome. I’m hoping to keep us as one of her regulars. I highly recommend her. Our pup loves her.

Ashlee took great care of our kitties, fish tank, plants and home. She was reliable, flexible and listened to what we said mattered most to us. She kept ample communication, ensuring we knew how things were going and sending lots of nice pictures and videos. We had peace of mind during our travels, which is all one can ask for. Thanks, Ashlee!

Reliable, friendly, and very considerate I will use her again

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a veterinary professional in training and a pet owner myself, I’m used to feeding, walking, playing with, and supervising multiple animals throughout the day. I structure my schedule around their needs—whether it’s early morning potty breaks, mid-day exercise, or evening wind-down time. Caring for animals isn’t something I “fit in”; it’s built into my everyday life.
