I grew up with a 90-pound yellow Labrador named Buddy, who taught me the basics of caring for a dog — from late-night walks and puppy training to providing gentle care when he became very ill. Since then, I’ve regularly dog-sat for my brother’s 12-year-old Goldendoodle. Being around dogs throughout my life has taught me that, as a guest in their lives, I should always be gentle, calm, patient, and loving. I’m comfortable handling dogs of various sizes and have experience with basic obedience training from working with my childhood dog. I will take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality and needs so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for.
