Hello, I offer attentive boarding rooted in years of experience with both volunteer and home settings! My experience started as a teenager, volunteering at the Houston SPCA and Friends for Life catteries, where I fell in love with caring for cats of all personalities. For the past 4 years, I’ve cared for my own adorable tortie, who I adopted from a rescue when she was just 1 year old. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and playtime throughout the day. As a cat parent myself, I truly understand the importance of leaving your cat somewhere safe and comforting. I strive to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your cat can feel secure and well cared for while you’re away. A premium window seat is waiting for all their sunbathing delight!

Schedule
Working from home early in the morning, as well as having another kitty in the home means your cat will feel all the love all the time. I’m never too far away to give some attention & play time. And when not working, I’m a natural homebody so my home stays neat, relaxing and fun.

I focus on making each cat feel comfortable at their own pace! I pay attention to their personality and adjust my approach to avoid any feelings of overwhelm. I keep their litter and space clean, and offer attention and stimulation based on their individual needs. And I also have no problem keeping you updated so you can feel confident your cat is comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Regarding my kitty Cattarina: She was raised in a foster home with multiple cats and dogs, so she has successfully coexisted with other pets. During boarding, I first let Rina and guest kitties safely see and smell each other through a closed door to gauge their comfort. I’ve found she can be territorial with unfamiliar cats in her home, so I keep them separated throughout the stay to ensure every guest cat is safe, comfortable, and stress-free.

A typical day
A typical day is calm and cozy! I work from home, so your cat will always have someone nearby. I check in regularly, offering playtime and attention. When they’re relaxing, they have access to cozy rest spots, fun toys, a tall cat tree for all their scratching desires, and a sunny window seat for watching the outside world. And I also have plenty catnip if your cat so desires! It's a must that your kitty is comfortable, has enough stimulation when desired, and feels as close to home as possible.
